2016/2017 Schedule - Grand Sweep Qur'an/Koran Studies - Potpourri Sunday School Class - as of 05-16-16 (Room 116, Education Building, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church) (class contacts: michaelrbearden@bellsouth.net and bret.s.moore@gmail.com) Note: This class is scheduled to start meeting on January 24, 2016, from in classroom 116 in the SAPC Education Building. There is no requirement to read either the Bible or Qur'an/Koran readings to attend the class - you are welcome to attend the class and listen to/participate in the discussions. The study book selection, for those who have or want to obtain a copy is The Grand Sweep - 365 Days From Genesis Through Revelation by J. Ellsworth Kalas. For those that want to obtain a copy of the translated Qur'an/Koran with commentary the following two books are recommended: The Qur an Text, Translation and Commentary (2012 ed.), by Abdullah Yusuf Ali and The Qur an, A new translation by M.A.S. Abdel Haleem.
