Don t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

John 14:12-14 I assure you: the one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. Hebrews 11:1-3, 6 Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not see. For our ancestors won God s approval by it. By faith we understand that the universe was created by God s command, so that what is seen has been made from things that are not visible....now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him. Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. ::: Pray for a spirit of unity in Cary FBC. Psalm 133:1-3 How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony! It is like fine oil on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron s beard onto his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon falling on the mountains of Zion. For there the Lord has appointed the blessing life forevermore. Acts 2:44 Now all the believers were together and held all things in common. Ephesians 4:1-6 Therefore I, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, accepting one another in love, diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds us. Psalm 77:14-15 You are the God who works wonders; You revealed Your strength among the peoples. With power You redeemed Your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. Ephesians 1:18-23 I pray that the perception of your mind may be enlightened so you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His vast strength. He demonstrated this power in the Messiah by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His right hand in the Heavens far above every ruler and authority, power and dominion, and every title given, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put everything under His feet and appointed Him as head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of the One who fills all things in every way. 2 Timothy 1:6-8 Therefore, I remind you to keep ablaze the gift of God that is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment. So don t be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, or of me His prisoner. Then the righteous will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or without clothes and clothed You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and visit You? Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and with people. Acts 2:46-47; 11:19-21 Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple complex, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with a joyful and humble attitude, praising God and having favor with all the people. And every day the Lord added to them those who were being saved....those who had been scattered as a result of the persecution that started because of Stephen made their way as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the message to one except Jews. But there were some of them, Cypriot and Cyrenian men, who came to Antioch and began speaking to the Hellenists, proclaiming the good news about the Lord Jesus. The Lord s hand was with them, and a large number who believed turned to the Lord. ::: Pray that the people of Cary FBC will consistently demonstrate a lifestyle that honors Christ. Luke 9:23-24 Then He said to them all, If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of Me will save it. 1 John 2:3-6 This is how we are sure that we have come to know Him: by keeping His commands. The one who says, I have come to know Him, yet doesn t keep His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His Word, truly in him the love of God is perfected. Do this so that you may fear the Lord your God all the days of your life by keeping all His statutes and commands I am giving you, your son, and your grandson, and so that you may have a long life. Listen, Israel, and be careful to follow them, so that you may prosper and multiply greatly, because Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has promised you a land flowing with milk and honey. Listen, Israel: the Lord, our God, the Lord is One. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead. Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, after he was warned about what was not yet seen and motivated by godly fear, built an ark to deliver his family. James 1:5; 3:17-18 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him....but the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without favoritism and hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who cultivate peace. Proverbs 1:7; 2:1-6; 16:16-17; 24:14 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and discipline....my son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, listening closely to wisdom and directing your heart to understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it like hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and discover the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding....get wisdom how much better it is than gold! And get understanding it is preferable to silver. The highway of the upright avoids evil; the one who guards his way protects his life....realize that wisdom is the same for you. If you find it, you will have a future, and your hope will never fade. Ephesians 1:16-18 I never stop giving thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers. I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear something new. They will turn away from hearing truth and will turn aside to myths. But as for you, be serious about everything, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. ::: Pray the people of Cary FBC will be filled with the Holy Spirit strong, obedient, and faithful. 2 Timothy 2:1-7 You, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, commit to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in the concerns of civilian life; he seeks to please the recruiter. Also, if anyone competes as an athlete, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. The hardworking farmer ought to be the first to get a share of the crops. Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything. 1 Timothy 3:1-7 This saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to be an overseer, he desires a noble work. An overseer, therefore, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, an able teacher, not addicted to wine, not a bully but gentle, not quarrelsome, not greedy one who manages his own household competently, having his children under control with all dignity. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of God s church?) He must not be a new convert, or he might become conceited and fall into the condemnation of the Devil. Furthermore, he must have a good reputation among outsiders, so that he does not fall into disgrace and the Devil s trap. 8

Deliver me from those who practice sin, and save me from men of bloodshed. Lord, look! They set an ambush for me. Powerful men attack me, but not because of any sin or rebellion of mine. For no fault of mine, they run and take up a position. Awake to help me, and take notice....rescue me, Lord, from evil men. Keep me safe from violent men who plan evil in their hearts. They stir up wars all day long. They make their tongues as sharp as a snake s bite; viper s venom is under their lips. Selah. Protect me, Lord, from the clutches of the wicked. Keep me safe from violent men who plan to make me stumble. The proud hide a trap with ropes for me; they spread a net along the path and set snares for me. Selah. I say to the Lord, You are my God. Listen, Lord, to my cry for help. Lord, God, my strong Savior, You shield my head on the day of battle. Lord, do not grant the desires of the wicked; do not let them achieve their goals. Otherwise, they will become proud. Selah. When those who surround me rise up, may the trouble their lips cause overwhelm them. Let hot coals fall on them. Let them be thrown into the fire, into the abyss, never again to rise. Do not let a slanderer stay in the land. Let evil relentlessly hunt down a violent man. I know that the Lord upholds the just cause of the poor, justice for the needy. Surely the righteous will praise Your name; the upright will live in Your presence. Matthew 6:13 And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. 1 Peter 5:8-11 Be serious! Be alert! Your adversary the Devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour. Resist him and be firm in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world. Now the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will personally restore, establish, strengthen, and support you after you have suffered a little. The dominion belongs to Him forever. Amen. 2 Thessalonians 3:1-5 Finally, brothers, pray for us that the Lord s message may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you, and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful; He will strengthen and guard you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do what we command. May the Lord direct your hearts to God s love and Christ s endurance. John 17:15-17 I am not praying that You take them out of the world but that You protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by the truth; Your Word is truth.
