Video 129 Very Effective Witnessing Tool for JWs at Website Hello Everyone! I am pleased to announce that after an extended absence the website, watchtowerexamination.com is live again. I personally rolled up my sleeve and built this from scratch. I m a self-taught web-designer; far from professional, and still learning. It is a work in progress, far from complete, but has enough information to go live again. So both the website and my web design skills are continually being worked on. It is not enough for us to just chat about the Watchtower organization every day. There is indeed a bigger objective, and I don t do this for fun. Lives are at stake. Families are at risk. The very salvation, or eternal loss of Jehovah s Witnesses are at play. That is what this is about. This time around the main focus of the website is to aid you in rescuing your Jehovah s Witness friends and relatives from deception. Maybe you have watched some videos and would be interested in capturing some of the quotations taken from their publications. The scripts of the videos are being uploaded so you can download and print them. After all, it may be easier to email a friend a document than it is to get him/her to visit a YouTube Channel. There is a MAJOR advantage in making the scripts available. Google has an invaluable feature of translating web pages into other languages, so you may now share the content with non-englishspeaking persons. Not to mention, you may be are bi-lingual or multi-lingual, so you may even download the videos and provide captions in other languages. I have no such skills. The Holy Spirit has blessed us with varying talents. Your talent can be employed to help reach Jehovah s Witnesses more effectively. Also, you may want to remove my comments and add your own, which you are free to do. I have no interest whatsoever in copyright, or patent or acknowledgement. My interest is the salvation of others, so please feel free to use the information without fear. The downloaded scripts are in pdf format, but you also have the option to read the scripts online. That is where you have the option to copy, paste and edit or replace my comments with yours. I only ask that you do not alter the Watchtower quotations. It is important that those remain intact. The Upcoming Video page gives a peek to persons who sometimes are a bit curious about what the next video will be about. And in case you are not subscribed to the channel but would like to know what the latest videos are about, the Videos page presents the most recent three. Two of the slides on the slideshow on the front page link to additional information. One looks at ten reasons this could never be Jehovah s Organization. Another, mentions 40 of the Watchtower s wacky doctrines, past and present. I ll have you know that the book, The Finished Mystery, which is featured, has well over 100 ridiculous teachings. I would not be surprised if it surpasses 200 or more, if the trend continues from reading just a section of that book. Probably the most important resource at the website is the first download on the Resources page, which I will take some time to go through right now. Please check it out. It could be the tool that makes the difference for you. It features 17 points that can be effectively used to help any honest Jehovah s Witness to wake up. This is information I have used with success and I can tell you, success with a Jehovah s Witness is no easy feat. I have packaged it in an improved and organized way that anyone can use. There is a list of points
and questions to ask your JW friends and relatives while handing them some cards with Watchtower quotations. Honest Jehovah s Witnesses will accept the cards because they are 100% Watchtower quotations and not apostate literature. The quotations are printed on letter-size paper, 4 cards to a page. Of course you will need to print and cut them into four. It may appear that the background is white, but it is actually transparent, so you may print them on coloured paper if you choose. These are the points and questions, as well as the quotations on the cards: Isn t the doctrine of the faithful and discreet slave based on the prophecy of Matthew 24:45-47? (It is a parable, but since Jehovah s Witnesses say it is a prophecy, work with them at their level use the word prophecy.) CARD 1 Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? Matthew 24:45 NWT The society once taught that the apostles were appointed in 33 C.E., just after Jesus left. That makes sense, doesn t it? CARD 2 Yes, it was the Christian congregation, born at Pentecost 33 C.E., that was entrusted with the new things revealed. As a group, anointed Christians served as the faithful and discreet slave appointed to provide spiritual food at the proper time. (Matthew 24:45) Watchtower May 15, 1986 p12 par10 The Things Revealed Belong to Us Doesn t the prophecy state that it is on the Master s return that he will appoint the slave over all His belongings if he finds him faithful in providing spiritual food at the proper time? CARD 3 Happy is that slave if his master on coming finds him doing so! Truly I say to you, he will appoint him over all his belongings. Matthew 24:46-47 And the Watchtower taught that Jesus, the Master, returned in 1914, as only Jehovah s Witnesses realize. CARD 4 Jesus disciples alone saw him depart, even as only Jehovah s Witnesses recognize his invisible return. Watchtower June 1, 1990 Jehovah Is Our Ruler! And hasn t the organization been teaching that He has been invisibly present since 1914?
CARD 5 Jehovah s Witnesses today are fully aware that the world wars and other distressing events since 1914 are the sign of Jesus invisible presence in Kingdom power and glory. Matthew 24:3-8; 25:31. Watchtower October 1, 1986, p17 par7 Peace From God When? And for several decades, the teaching was that the prophecy of Matthew 24:46-47 was fulfilled; that Jesus returned, and BECAUSE He found the organization to be so faithful in providing spiritual food at the proper time, He did the second appointment - over all His belongings? CARD 6 On arriving to inspect the slave in 1918, Christ found a spirit-anointed remnant of faithful disciples who since 1879 had been using this journal and other Bible-based publications to provide spiritual food at the proper time. He acknowledged them as his collective instrument, or slave, and in 1919 entrusted them with the management of all his earthly belongings. Watchtower April 1, 2007, p22 par5 Loyal to Christ and His Faithful Slave But that journal and other publications were teaching that Jesus invisible presence began in 1874. Was that spiritual food at the proper time? CARD 7 when C. T. Russell began publishing a new religious magazine in July 1879, it was called Zion s Watch Tower and Herald of Christ s Presence. It was heralding Christ s presence as having begun in 1874. Watchtower August 15, 1974, p507 No Spiritual Energy Crisis for Discreet Ones Now that journal and other publications teach that the second appointment was not made in 1919 after all. CARD 8 Jesus arrival to appoint the faithful slave over all his belongings did not occur in 1919 but will take place during the great tribulation. Watchtower July 15, 2013, p8 par19 Tell Us, When Will These Things Be? That change leaves more questions than answers. It means the organization was founded on error, as far as this teaching goes, because it was declaring that Russell was the slave, and that the appointment was made in 33 C.E. It also reveals that after the appointment, the slave was not providing spiritual food AT THE PROPER TIME, because it continued to teach that Russell was the slave for years after the appointment. CARD 9 Brother Russell s wife publicly expressed the idea that Russell himself was the faithful and wise servant. The view that she voiced concerning the identity of the faithful servant came to be generally held by the Bible Students for some 30 years. Proclaimers, Chapter 10, p143 Growing in Accurate Knowledge of the Truth
And for nearly 100 years after the appointment, it continued to teach that the first appointment was done in 33 C.E. and the second appointment in 1919. Please note that Bible passages are being cited as proof of those teachings. CARD 10 As Head of his congregation, not only did Jesus keep a watchful eye on his anointed footstep followers on earth but, since the outpouring of the holy spirit at Pentecost 33 C.E., he has also used them as a channel of truth, as a faithful and discreet slave. (Matthew 24:45-47; Acts 2:1-36) Watchtower August 1, 2000, p6 Respect for Authority Why Essential? CARD 11 Jesus did not receive the key of David until 33 C.E. when he was exalted to the right hand of God in heaven. Since then, Jesus has been using the key to open up opportunities and privileges related to the Kingdom. In 1919, Jesus placed the key of the house of David upon the shoulder of the faithful and discreet slave by appointing that slave class over all his belongings. Isa. 22:22; Matt. 24:45, 47. Watchtower January 15, 2009, p31 par2 Highlights From the Book of Revelation I The latest refinement creates a bit of confusion because it contradicts itself. On the one hand, it clearly stated that the spiritual cleansing or the refinement of the slave was completed, or took place, between 1914 and 1919. CARD 12 After the enthroned King purged the heavens of the corrupting influence of Satan and his demons, Jehovah directed Jesus to inspect and refine the spiritual condition of his followers on earth. The prophet Malachi described this as a spiritual cleansing. (Mal. 3:1-3) History shows that this took place between 1914 and the early part of 1919. Watchtower - January 15, 2014, p13 p5 100 Years of Kingdom Rule How Does It Affect You? On the other hand, it says that the refinement continues more like it took place between 1914 and 2014 and beyond. CARD 13 Was that the end of the refining and cleansing for God s people? No. Throughout the last days, Jehovah by means of the Messianic King has continued to help his followers to be clean so that they might remain in the spiritual temple. God s Kingdom Rules (2014) Ch10 p101 par5 The King Refines His People Spiritually That would mean that Jesus has not done a very good job of refining the temple if He requires all of 100 years to do it, and if in those 100 years His people consistently taught erroneous things. And it throws out the Watchtower teaching that the slave has been faithful and discreet in providing spiritual food at the proper time, because before, during, and after the 1914-1919 period of spiritual cleansing, it taught several false doctrines. First it taught that the very period of spiritual cleansing was when the Holy Spirit ceased to function. And this was taught up to 13 years after 1919:
CARD 14... the comforter was taken away, which would necessarily occur when Jesus, the Head of his organization, came to the temple and gathered unto himself those whom he found faithful when he, as the great Judge, began his judgment, in 1918 Preservation (1932) - Rutherford - pp193-194 Ruth 1 Up to 10 years after 1929 it was still teaching that THE BIBLE PROVES Jesus came into Kingdom power in 1874. CARD 15 The Scriptural proof is that the second presence of the Lord Jesus Christ began in 1874 A.D. Prophecy (1929) Rutherford p65 And immediately after the appointment the spiritual food at the improper time was that paradise would be restored in 1925, and that Abraham and others would be resurrected to be princes in the new earth. They even built a house called, Beth Sarim, for Abraham and the other princes. CARD 16 Therefore, we may confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old, particularly those named by the Apostle in Hebrews chapter eleven, to the condition of human perfection. Millions Now Living Will Never Die, pp89-90 Earthly Rulers To this very day, the Watchtower is still boasting about the launch of that major false prophecy campaign by, hiding the truth of what the campaign was really about. CARD17 By 1919, the good news of the Kingdom had taken on added meaning. (Matt. 24:14) The King was ruling in heaven, and he had gathered a small group of cleansed earthly subjects. They eagerly responded to Jesus rousing instructions: Preach the good news of God s established Kingdom in all the earth! (Acts 10:42) For example, close to 20,000 Kingdom supporters convened for an international convention in Cedar Point, Ohio, U.S.A., in September 1922. Just imagine their excitement when Brother Rutherford delivered the talk entitled The Kingdom and declared: Behold, the King reigns! You are his publicity agents. Therefore advertise, advertise, advertise, the King and his kingdom. Two thousand delegates responded by sharing in a special Service Day, visiting homes up to 45 miles (72 km) away from the convention site. Stirred to action, one delegate exclaimed: Never will I forget the call to advertise the Kingdom and the zeal of the assembled throng! He was not alone. Watchtower January 15, 2014, p14 par8 100 Years of Kingdom Rule How Does It Affect You? Finally, the latest refinement creates a major problem. The prophecy of Matthew 24:45-47 is now in tatters, because it means that the master, on leaving, did not appoint a slave over his domestics to provide spiritual food. Rather, he waited until his invisible return to do it. So the apostles all the way down to Russell, by providing spiritual food, were doing something they were never appointed to do.
Final question: Of all the teachings for the Watchtower to change, how can it change the teaching that Jesus used the apostles, who NEVER taught any doctrinal error, as faithful slaves, and claim He used the Watchtower - which has taught several falsehoods - as the faithful and discreet slave? That s it ladies and gentlemen. Please go over to the website and retrieve your witnessing resource. I will be proving to you how effective it is. Here s the proof: Do a comparison for yourself. In the last few videos, I discussed the subject of the Trinity and the Deity of Christ. Please look at those videos and see the Jehovah s Witnesses who have come on with their venom to debate. I guarantee you, they will be far less strident on this video. Watch and see for yourself. Note, I publicly stated this, so some of them will, with egg on their faces, desperately try to prove me wrong. But you will see. Less of them will have anything to say, and those who venture to respond, naturally, will chat nonsense because there is no sensible rebuttal that can be made to this; and that is why it is very effective with honest Jehovah s Witnesses. It will work on their minds when they have their alone time with God, even if they put up some kind of brave face when they are in your presence. Be sure to have the printed cards in order for a smooth flow. If you have no Jehovah s Witness friend or relative it would be nice for you to print and keep the resource for the next time a Jehovah s Witness knocks on your door. Print two copies of the cards if you wish, since they come to your house in pairs. And please, let me know how it went. Finally, remember to pray about this before you do it. The resource is just seeds. Ultimately, it is the Holy Spirit who will be doing the work. Not you or me. In the next video I will be discussing the ramifications of some of the things mentioned here as I seek to share with Jehovah s Witnesses how the organization is lying to them with contempt and disdain. Thank you.
