It is nearly Christmas time! What better way to count down the days then by completing a Personal Progress project? Chose one of the projects below to complete, there is one for each value. Faith: Memorize scriptures about Christ Divine Nature: Make a recipe book for your future home Individual Worth: Make a family history book Knowledge: Learn new Christmas traditions Choice and Accountability: Learn to play, conduct, sing Christmas songs. Good Works: Complete an act of service for someone each day Integrity: Make a book of quotes for a friend or family member for Christmas. Virtue: Read the Book of Mormon in 25 days. Each day you will: Do an activity which works towards your goal Find a scripture about Christ, Christmas, the activity, or the value. Share the scripture with someone in your family, or a friend, or post it on your social media page. Write the scripture down on a slip of paper and create a chain with it. As the season goes by your scripture chain will grow longer and longer. After 25 days, when you finish your project, write down your experience. Share what your learned with someone. Some possible questions you can write about are: How did it strengthen your testimony? Did it strengthen your relationship with your family? Did it make you a better home maker? What qualities did develop? How did it help you become more Christlike? Let s Get Started!

Faith Memorize 1 scripture about Christ each day for 25 days. Share this scripture with a friend or family. Then write that scripture on your scripture chain. Divine Nature Collect at least 25 Christmas recipes. Make 1 or more each day for 25 days. Place each one in a recipe book and write a review for each. (Some suggestions: Desserts, family favourites, meals, appetizers, party food, and beverages.) Then share a scripture with your family or friends which goes along with your experience. Write that scripture on your scripture chain. Individual Worth Collect 1 story about an ancestor, family Christmas tradition, or photos for 25 days. Write how these stories bring you closer to Christ and help you feel the Christmas spirit. Then find a scripture which goes along with your story and place it next to the story. Write the scripture on your scripture chain. Keep these stories in a book and share them with your family on Christmas. Knowledge Learn about Christmas traditions from around the world, your family, and friends. Do at least one of the traditions each day for 25 days. Find a scripture which goes along with each tradition. Share it with a friend or family member, and write it on your scripture chain. Then write your thoughts and experience about each traditions. Which ones did you like the best? Why?

Choice and Accountability Select 25 Christmas songs. (Try ones you are not familiar with, or learn them in a different language.) Each day for 25 days learn to sing, play, or conduct, one song. Place each song in a notebook or binder and add a scripture to each song. Share the scripture with a family member or friend. Then write the scripture on your scripture chain. Good Works Make a list of 25 people who you feel need some Christmas cheer. Each day, for 25 days, complete for an act of service for one of them. Then write them a meaningful Christmas card. Include in it a scripture or a quote from a General Authority. Write that same scripture or quote on your scripture chain. Integrity Read 1 talk about integrity each day for 25 days. For each talk find two or three quotes and place them in a notebook. Share one of them with a family member or friend, and write it on your scripture chain. On Christmas give the notebook to someone along with your testimony of integrity. Virtue Read the Book of Mormon in 25 days. (About 10 chapters or 21 pages a day.) Look for the reasons why we have the Book of Mormon and Christ s doctrine. Share one scripture from your reading with a family member or friend each day. Then write that scripture on your scripture chain.
