SYNOPSIS The eart of Man is a story inviting the sons and daughters of God to leave behind our broken, moralistic and religious way of thinking and relating to God and to others. Once we begin to know who God is (and as a result who we are), we have something to invite the world into. Freedom from performance. Freedom from managing our behavior so we appear acceptable to God. Freedom from our addictions, compulsive behaviors, secrecy and double lives. This film tears the veil of confusion over the church's current identity crisis and enables it to invite the rest of the world to the banquet God is throwing all of us. The film features emotional interviews with real people going through their mess and subsequent healing, and includes expert witnesses of such men as William Paul Young, author of the NY Times best-selling novel The Shack, Dan Allender, Ph.D, author of "The Wounded eart" and Spoken Word Artist Jackie ill Perry. All of that is interwoven with a production-rich prodigal son narrative story shot in awaii. WAT C T E T R A I LER III
WAY S T O WAT C We are excited to announce that we will be releasing the film across Australia initially in cinemas. We feel that this is the best way to introduce this powerful and moving presentation on film and can t wait for you to see it on the big screen. Our hope is to see over 30,000 people come out and help us expose the shame that has shackled us for too long, ultimately revealing the face and love of the Father. A successful launch on this date will change the course of the movement in this part of the world enabling us to launch around Australia and New Zealand in a more profound and life changing way that we could hope or imagine. One of the main ways we ll hit this number is if churches get engaged early on and work with us at a local level to ensure everyone knows about our theatrical release of TE EART OF MAN. We encourage group viewing as the movie will be diving into heavy topics that will unearth both pain and beauty these are best processed with people. This movie shines the light on age-old bondages and removes the lid on shame exposing it for what it is. It points to the better yes and our identity as new creations, no longer just saved sinners but saints. It reveals the antidote to shame grace. The grace of the Father for his children and the grace we can have for each other in the midst of our darkest moments. W I LLI A M PAU L YO U N G AUTOR OF TE SACK WM Paul Young is an American author whose 2007 novel, The Shack, about a father whose mourning of his daughter s death prompts a visit from God, has sold over 25 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling books of all time. It has also been turned into a movie that hit theaters in the US in March, starring Sam Worthington as Mackenzie, Young s fictionalized version of himself, and Octavia Spencer as Papa, his representation of God. Paul travels and speaks all over the world to audiences numbering in the tens of thousands. e continues to write books, his latest -- Lies we believe about God came out in March, 2017. is voice and story are core to the film s message. JAC K I E I LL P ER RY SPOKEN WORD ARTIST Jackie ill-perry is a writer and artist whose work has been featured on The Washington Times, Desiring God, The Gospel Coalition and other online publications. Since being saved from a lifestyle of destructive choices Jackie has been compelled to share the light of gospel truth through poems that have reached over one million views on YouTube. She is signed to umble Beast Records and released her debut album "The Art of Joy" in 2014. Jackie serves locally as Female Mentorship Coordinator at Grip Outreach for Youth. A non-profit organization loving Chicago's fatherless teens. At home, she is known as wife to Preston and mommy to Eden. VII
D R. DA N A LLEN D ER PROFESSOR OF COUNSELING AND PSYCOLOGY Dr. Dan Allender has pioneered a unique and innovative approach to trauma and abuse therapy over the past 30 years. After receiving his Master of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary, Dr. Allender earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Michigan State University. In 1997, Dan and a cadre of others founded The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology, in order to train therapists, pastors, artists, and leaders to more effectively serve in the context of the 21st century. Dan continues to serve as Professor of Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School. e travels and speaks extensively to present his unique perspective on sexual abuse recovery, love and forgiveness, intimacy and marriage, worship, and other related topics. Dan is the author of The Wounded eart, The ealing Path, To Be Told, and God Loves Sex, and he has co-authored several books with Dr. Tremper Longman, including Intimate Allies, The Cry of thesoul, Bold Love, and Bold Purpose. is voice is central to the film. ER I C E S A U DIRECTOR WRITER Eric directed and co-wrote the award-winning film, Rape for Profit, which had a theatrical release in 2012, placing in the top 5 in N. America for dollars grossed per screen. e has since directed more than 100 short-form documentaries and commercials for the likes of Amazon, Costco, Toshiba and Eddie Bauer. e is now in development on his next feature film and hopes to get into production by early 2018. Eric has put his blood, sweat and tears into this project over the last 3+ years literally going over every detail from the script to the edit. e has been a fearless leader in pioneering a different and new type of genre with this film. T O N Y A N D ER S O N FOUNDER OF UNEARTED EXECUTIVE Tony is a world-class composer by trade and has had his music licensed by the biggest brands in the world from the likes of Apple, Tesla, ESPN, Facebook and Red Bull. e does all of this out of his studio in Lexington, KY as his music is licensed through the Musicbed in Ft. Worth, TX. e also founded Unearthed back in 2010 in an effort to create the film, The eart of Man, and has provided leadership to that end, since. e brought life to this project in so many ways but it was most evident at the orchestral recording in Bratislava, Slovakia for the score. Tony spent 6 months excavating his soul and immersing himself in the locked-picture of the film -- pulling out the melody and themes that eventually would be recorded by a 40-piece string section over half a world away in eastern Europe. J EN S JAC O B PRODUCER Jens founded Sypher Films, a full-service production company, in 2013 out of Los Angeles, CA. They have worked with some of the biggest brands in the world like Tesla, Google, Universal and Mercedes. is last narrative project, Anomaly, was a huge success online, featured on Vimeo Staff Picks, Gizmodo and can now be watched on ulu. Sypher recently sold its first pilot to TLC (Discovery) and optioned another to Amazon Studios. e s been on the core-producing team for the past few years and has left his mark on every phase of the filmmaking process. Jens also co-founded a camera rental company and a FAA-approved drone company, both of which added significant production value to The eart of Man. e s in development on a few feature films. XIII
JA S O N PA M ER PRODUCER WRITER Jason co-wrote and produced the critically-acclaimed film, Rape for Profit, which was executive produced by Jada Pinkett Smith. It premiered in the top 3 documentaries on itunes when it released and top 50 films overall (out of 5,000+ titles). e co-wrote and produced another feature documentary, Saved for a Reason, that can be viewed on cable providers, itunes, ulu, Amazon Prime and many more outlets. e is in development on a few feature films with his producing partner, Jens Jacob. Jason was brought on by Tony back in 2013 to hire and develop a new team that could tell the story of the heart of man -- he has since hired 150+ people that have all had a hand in making the film. e oversees all aspects of the filmmaking process from script development through the mass-market delivery of the film and finally to the curation of the 6 week curriculum that will eventually accompany the film. BRIAN BIRD EXECUTIVE PRODUCER Brian is a 30-year veteran of the ollywood film and television business with writing and producing credits that include the 2017 feature film, The Case for Christ, Paramount s "Captive" (2015),"The Ultimate Life" (2013) for 20th Century Fox, and Sony s Not Easily Broken (2009). Additionally, he serves as executive producer and head writer of the wildly successful allmark original series, "When Calls the eart," (2013-present), and was Co-Executive producer and senior writer for five seasons on the hit CBS series, Touched By An Angel. Brian has been one of the chief voices over the past few years on this project, giving industry-rich insights into every phase of post-production and finally into the marketing/distribution leg of the journey. e s been quoted as saying, The eart of Man is one of the most important projects I ve worked on in three decades and one of the most meaningful of my career. D R. B R U C E M C N I CO L EXECUTIVE PRODUCER Bruce is the co-founder and President of Trueface, a grace-centered, high-trust leadership organization based out of Phoenix, AZ. With degrees in finance law, theology, leadership and organizational development, Bruce has a gift for writing to diverse readers and leaders. This has proved true in the best-sellers he has co-authored: The Cure, The Ascent of a Leader, Bo s Café, Behind The Mask, The Kingdom Life, igh Trust Cultures, and now, The Cure & Parents. Bruce has leveraged his unique skill set and global network to push this project forward over the last few years, and without his specific involvement and contribution it would not have happened. N O EL B O U C E EXECUTIVE PRODUCER Noel leads pureope, an organization spread across the U.S. bringing resources of hope to a new generation of parents and next-generation leaders who hunger for God's justice, righteousness, and redemption in our sexually exploitative culture. e was responsible for connecting the film teams to get this project revitalized--without him, this film doesn't happen. Throughout the production, he's been an active and integral part of the team, speaking into everything from scripting, distribution opportunities, and curriculum development. Noel is a husband and father of two daughters. e previously worked as a litigation attorney and graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law and South Dakota State University, where he quarterbacked the football team. C A D V E AC EXECUTIVE PRODUCER Pastor Chad Veach is a leading voice to this generation, traveling both nationally and internationally, speaking at conferences like Catalyst, illsong and Awakening, and spreading the message of the hope and life that is found in Jesus. e is also the author of the best-selling book, Unreasonable ope and is currently working on his 2nd book with a passion to further spread the message of Jesus. In 2014, he and his wife founded Zoe LA, a church with the goal of infusing Zoe "life" and God's love into people from all backgrounds and walks. Since opening its doors, the young, thriving church has expanded to three services and is already having an impact on the city of Los Angeles. Chad and Julia are the most recent additions to the Executive Producing team and have already connected the film to its most influential partners before even signing a contract. This is because their heart is to go "all-in" once they feel called to something.
