Announcements CROPS FOR KOINONIA - UPDATE! The produce that is grown in our garden is given to Koinonia, an area food bank to help feed those in need. So far this year, we have donated 872 pounds of squash, tomatoes, eggplant, hot peppers, and melons to Koinonia. Sermon Outline God Is A God of Love A.W. Tozer, I can no more do justice to this awesome and wonder-filled topic than a child can grasp a star. Still, by reaching toward the star the child may call attention to it and even indicate the direction one must look to see it. And so, I stretch my heart toward the high, shining love of God so that we may be encouraged to look up and have hope. Eros- refers to erotic or romantic love Storge- refers to family love Phileo- refers to brotherly love Agape- refers to God s unconditional love Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT), For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs. Psalm 36:7 (NLT), How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 63:3 (NCV), Because your love is better than life, I will praise you. Sermon Outline Deuteronomy 7:7-8 (MSG), GOD wasn t attracted to you and didn t choose you because you were big and important the fact is, there was almost nothing to you. He did it out of sheer love, keeping the promise he made to your ancestors. 1 John 3:1 (CEV), Think how much the Father loves us. He loves us so much that he lets us be called his children, as we truly are. 1 John 4:16 (NCV), And so we know the love that God has for us, and we trust that love. God is love. Those who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. Ephesians 3:17-19 (NCV), I pray that Christ will live in your hearts by faith and that your life will be strong in love and be built on love. And I pray that you and all God's holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ's love how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is.
