II. Satan's Rebellion and Removal from His Position Iniquity was found in Him Five I Statements I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. I will be like the Most High. Satan Locked Away At the End of This Age He is cast into Hell at the end of this age The people in Hell will be amazed that Satan is as weak as they are and is receiving the same judgment that they received. His heavenly music had become nothing but noise He will be covered in hell with maggots He will be bound in hell for 1000 years Isaiah 14:9-11 MKJV Hell from below is moved for you, to meet you at your coming. It stirs up the dead for you, all the he-goats of the earth. It has raised from their thrones all the kings of the nations. (10) All of them shall speak and say to you, Are you also as weak as we? Are you like us? (11) Your pride is brought down to the grave, and the noise of your harps. The maggot is spread under you, and the worms cover you. Revelation 20:1-3 MKJV And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. (2) And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. (3) And he cast him into the abyss and shut him up and set a seal on him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that he must be loosed a little time. IV. Satan's Final Rebellion and End Satan will be loosed at the end of the 1000 years He will lead one final rebellion He will deceive many once again (as many as the sand of the sea) They will surround the saints and the Holy City Fire will come out of heaven and devour them all He will be cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone He will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:7-10 MKJV (7) And when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be loosed out of his prison. (8) And he will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle. The number of them is as the sand of the sea. (9) And they went up over the breadth of the earth and circled around the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of Heaven and devoured them. (10) And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were. And he will be tormented day and night forever and ever. V. The names used for Satan may change some from one translation of the Bible to another. Here I used the Modern King James Version.
