EPHESIANS 6:10-12 Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. I. INTRODUCTION A. WHY FIGHT BATTLES AS CHRISTIANS 1.What is given is not automatically yours Example: Israel and the Promise land

II. WE FIGHT OUR ENEMY IN SPIRIT Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places. ( MKJV)
A. THE HIARACHY OF DEMONS 1.PRINCIPALITIES GK ARCHAS Means the first one, pre- eminent one The person or thing commences, the first person in a series. Ephesians 2:2 speaks of Satan as the prince of the air. Gk word ARCHAN He rules with other group of rulers Satan is not omnipresent nor omnipotent
2. AUTHORITIES. GK word is EXOUSIA The power of rule or government Authority to rule
3. WORLD RULERS OF THIS DARKNESS These are spirits that rule over nations But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days; but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me: and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Daniel 10:13
They rule over cities. There work is to extend devil's kingdom They influence the people who are in their territory and in their kingdom.
4. SPIRITUAL FORCE OF WICKEDNESS IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES Spiritual forces that are wicked and inhabit the sphere above the earth. Their work is to corrupt all flesh To distribute unclean Spirit among men known as demons
B. WE REIGN WITH CHRIST IN THE HEAVELY PLACES 1.Ephesians 3:19-23 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us, the ones believing according to the working of His mighty strength which He worked in Christ in raising Him from the dead, and He seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies,
.far above all principality and authority and power and dominion, and every name being named, not only in this world, but also in the coming age. And He has put all things under His feet and gave Him to be Head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
2. We are to rule with Christ in the midst of our enemies. Psa 110:2 Jehovah shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion; rule in the midst of Your enemies. Ps 110:2 (MKJV)
III.BE STRONG IN THE SPIRIT 1. Be strong in his might power. Eph 6:10 Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
2. Be strong in Prayer. Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
2.1.The Spiritual battles are fought in Prayer When Moses s hands were lifted. Israel won the Battle When Peter was in Prison, the church prayed he was released
2.2 Solutions for your problems are obtained in the sprit Daniel Esther saved the nation of Israel through prayer When Jehoshaphat was challenged by his enemies, He prayed and God gave them victory.
2.3. God s secrets are revealed in prayer When you are prayerful person, you are alert in your spirit No surprise from the devil.
V. PRAYER 1. Pray for divine strength. Ps 18:32-33 2. Prayer for deeper relationship with God. Eph 3:17-19 3. Pray that the spirit of prayer will be upon you and the Church.
