Rick Holly chaired the Vessel Routes Subcommittee, whose membership included CAPT Patrick Maloney and Ken Levin. Sven Eklof contributed information as well. Sven Eklof chaired the Vessel Traffic Volume Subcommittee. Traffic data compilation and the generation of tables, graphs, and charts was primarily done by USCG LT Patricia Springer. Data research was conducted by LT Springer as well as the other Subcommittee members, including Ellen Faurot-Daniels, Ted Severud and Dave Godfrey, Mic Dorrance, Harry Hutchins, Patrick Maloney, Jack Barfield, Jim Townley, Ed Irish, and John McLaurin. The Existing Vessel Management Measures report was initially compiled by USCG LCDR Brian Tetreault; after his transfer, LT Patricia Springer expanded the report to both text and matrix format. The Vessel Drift Analysis Subcommittee was chaired by NOAA CDR Jim Morris; other committee members and advisors included Andy Palmer, CAPT Ed Irish, and Glen Watabayashi of NOAA. The Casualty Data Report was researched and compiled by USCG CAPT Frank Whipple and LT Patricia Springer. The Assist Vessel Subcommittee was chaired by Jerry McMahon of the American Waterways Operators, Pacific Region; members included Stan Norman, Harry Hutchins, Andy Palmer, and Ellen Faurot-Daniels.
