Page 4 Our Lady of Lourdes, Toledo, May 6, 2018 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SECOND GRADERS WHO RECEIVED FIRST EUCHARIST ON SUNDAY, APRIL 15, 2018 TAYLOR VIRGINIA URBANOWICZ NICANDRO ALBERTO RODRIGUEZ IGNACIO FROST MORENO LANDON JAMES KEIFFER JACKSON PAUL KEIFFER From The Desk of The Parish Manager! Greetings! Over the past year, many of you have taken the opportunity to enjoy donuts & coffee with a friend, or share a glass of wine, some cheese and crackers, and maybe even a hearty breakfast with your fellow parishioners. The new Parish Life Center (PLC) is adjacent to the narthex, and easily accessible for those exiting from Mass, and a welcoming place for all to gather. For these simple pleasures we have the dedicated members of The Daughters of Mary and Men s Club Members to thank. During the planning stages for building the new church, parishioners often requested an accessible facility with a place to gather and converse after mass, as well as a welcoming place to share a snack, or a meal together, while building community amongst our faithful. The narthex provides this space, but more importantly, the dedicated members of our Men s Club and Daughters of Mary provide a valuable service that enables us to grow closer as a parish. For this, the staff here at OLL are very appreciative. As we continue to grow closer to God by serving Him and each other, I am thankful for the dedication and efforts of these two essential groups in our parish! Dave Lang
