THE STATE HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF MISSOURI RESEARCH CENTER-KANSAS CITY K1142 Regina Entin Pachter (1915- ) Papers [Jewish Community Archives] 1946-2006 3 cubic feet Pachter was owner with her husband, Meyer Pachter of the Pachter Garment Company. she was also a talent pianist who performed widely. Includes correspondence, clippings, photographs, programs, scripts, and sheet music pertaining to Pachter s involvement in various Kansas City Jewish organizations. BIOGRAPHY: In addition to running the Pachter Garment Company, Regina Pachter and her husband Meyer were active members in various Kansas City Jewish organizations, namely Beth Shalom, Hadassah, Brandeis University National Women s Committee (Greater Kansas City Chapter), and Kehilath Israel, where she served as a piano accompanist and staged numerous children s productions. PROVENANCE: This gift was received from Regina Pachter as accession KA1402 on August 24, 2005. An additional accession, KA1443 was received from Mrs. Pachter on October 27, 2005. Accession 1460kc was acquired on July 14, 2006, and accession KA1465 was received on August 22, 2006 from Mrs. Pachter.
