Dear Friends Welcome to our Light up a Life Services Every year, our Light up a Life services bring people together to remember our loved ones, celebrate their lives and to support each other as part of a compassionate community. This time of year is a time when we look back and remember those we have lost. This year, as a team, we will particularly remember and give thanks for, our former trustee John Dain, who was a committed member of our Barton-under-Needwood Friends Group and was instrumental in launching our lottery. This year we launched our five year Strategy and one of the lines in that stands out for me today, that there is no timescale on grief. As a hospice, we want to be there to support people when they need us most, such as through events like today s service and through our Bereavement Help Points in the community. If you need support, call us on 01543 434536 to find your nearest Help Point. During the service, there are members of the hospice team available to speak to, if you wish. Do remember to read your entry in our Book of Memories if you have requested one. Thank you for your support throughout 2017. I wish you a happy, peaceful Christmas and New Year.
