ONE PRIORITY love god... with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:37-39 THREE RELATIONAL MOTIVES Move kids to LOVE GOD by inciting WONDER Move kids to LOVE LIFE by provoking DISCOVERY Move kids to LOVE OTHERS by fueling PASSION NINE CORE INSIGHTS DESIGN: What I see around me reveals a Creator I cannot see. FALL AUGUST THE HUNT WISDOM IS WORTH SEARCHING FOR When Jesus was a boy, He grew in wisdom. God wants us to discover wisdom, too. When we make the wise choice, we reflect the character of Jesus to people around us. WEEK ONE: Jesus Grows in Wisdom Luke 2:41-52 What does it mean to be wise? When we see a need and choose to do something about it, people can see the reality of God s love for them. WINTER NOVEMBER JAM SESSION BUILD A BETTER BEAT God created us to work together in community. Throughout the Bible, we see how God brought people together to accomplish something big for Him. When we work together, we reflect what Jesus envisioned for His followers. Our love for one another can point people to Him. God sent His only Son to make us right with Him. We reflect that compassion when we care about others and show them how much God loves them. His Spirit gives us the power to show self-control. We can follow His example and choose to do what we should do instead of what we want to do. SPRING FEBRUARY ALWAYS OPEN SERVICE WITH A SMILE Jesus demonstrated what serving really means by washing His disciples feet and even laying down His life for the sins of the world. We reflect His character to the people around us when we lend a hand and serve. WEEK ONE: Jesus Washes the Disciples Feet John 13:1-17 Why should you serve others? WEEK TWO: Meet People s Needs 1 Peter 4:10-11 How can you serve someone today? WEEK THREE: Feeding 5,000 John 6:1-13 What do you have that you can use to serve others? Everything He has created is unique and one-of-akind, including people created in His image. Every person is an original reflection of God. SUMMER MAY MUD RUN MAKE IT THROUGH THE MAYHEM Throughout history, God has offered strength to help people persevere through difficult situations. Jesus persevered through death itself to make us right with God. We can have perseverance, too, because of what Jesus has done for us. JUNE WEEK ONE: Great Commission and Spread of Gospel Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1 and 2 What makes you want to give up? WEEK TWO: Paul and Silas in Prison Acts 16:16-40 Why is it worth it to keep going? But those who trust in the Lord will receive new strength. They will fly as high as eagles. They will run and not get tired. They will walk and not grow weak.
