ORDER OF SERVIE WELOME/ANNOUNEMENTS RELUDE The Strife Is O er alestrina/sherman Belles & Beaus lease stand BRIEF ORDER FOR ONFESSION AND FORGIVENESS In the name of the Father, and of the + Son, and of the Holy Spirit. As witnesses of hrist s victory on the cross, and in the sure and certain hope of the resurrection, let us confess our sins in the presence of God and one another. Silence for reflection and self-examination. Living God, in the light of hrist s resurrection, we rejoice to see our Lord Jesus, by whose wounds we have been healed. Trusting in your promise of mercy, we confess our sins, the things we have done, and the things we have left undone. Forgive our quickness to turn from you and our slowness of heart to repent. Renew us and guide us in the way of truth and light through Jesus hrist our Lord. In great mercy, God has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus hrist. In obedience to Holy Scripture, and by the command of our Lord Jesus hrist, and by his authority, I forgive you all your sins in the name of the Father, and of the + Son, and of the Holy Spirit. HYMN Jesus hrist Is Risen Today LBW 151 The grace of our Lord Jesus hrist, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. And also with you.

HYMN OF RAISE SALUTATION/RAYER OF THE DAY The Lord be with you. And also with you. Let us pray. God of all mercy and grace, your only Son s death and glorious resurrection have delivered us from the power of death and redeemed all creation. Grant that we may no longer look for the living among the dead and instead daily die to sin and rise to newness of life; through Jesus hrist, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

lease be seated HILDREN S SERMON ANTHEM Alleluia! hrist Is Risen! Albert/Hoffmann Junior hoir FIRST LESSON Acts 10:34-43 34 eter opened his mouth and said: Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, 35 but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. 36 As for the word that he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus hrist (he is Lord of all), 37 you yourselves know what happened throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. 39 And we are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree, 40 but God raised him on the third day and made him to appear, 41 not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. 42 And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. 43 To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name. L The Word of the Lord. Thanks be to God. SEOND LESSON olossians 3:1-4 1 If then you have been raised with hrist, seek the things that are above, where hrist is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with hrist in God. 4 When hrist who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. L The Word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.

Matthew 28:1-10 1 Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. 4 And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men. 5 But the angel said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. ome, see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you. 8 So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 And behold, Jesus met them and said, Greetings! And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me. THE NIENE REED A Let us confess our faith with the words of the Nicene reed. We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus hrist, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under ontius ilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic hurch. We acknowledge one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. RAYERS OF THE HURH A Let us pray for the hurch, the world, and for all people according to their needs. Following each petition: A Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer. Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus hrist our Lord.

The peace of the Lord be with you always. Receive the offering of our lives, and feed us with your grace, that, in the midst of death, all creation might feast on your unending life in Jesus hrist our Lord. THE GREAT THANKSGIVING The Lord be with you. And also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give him thanks and praise. It is indeed right and salutary...we praise your name and join their unending hymn:

SANTUS EUHARISTI RAYER Holy, mighty, and merciful Lord, heaven and earth are full of your glory. In great love you sent to us Jesus, your Son, who reached out to heal the sick and suffering, who preached good news to the poor, and who, on the cross, opened his arms to all. In the night in which he was betrayed, our Lord Jesus took bread, gave thanks; broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying: Take and eat; this is my body, given for you. Do this for the remembrance of me. Again, after supper, he took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it for all to drink, saying: This cup is the new covenant in my blood, shed for you and for all people for the forgiveness of sin. Do this for the remembrance of me. Remembering, therefore, his death, resurrection, and ascension, we await his coming in glory.

our out the Spirit of your love, O Lord, and unite the wills of those who share this heavenly food, the body and blood of our Lord Jesus hrist; to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be all honor and glory, now and forever. Through him, with him, in him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, almighty Father, now and forever. THE LORD S RAYER Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. AGNUS DEI
