I mean, I knew it was bad, but I always thought It can t be that bad. I don t see anybody trying to change the situation! Yesterday my perception about life has changed when I was talking to my mom. She started telling me how life was when she was my age. She told me that the river that crosses my city, the one that smells really bad and is highly polluted, was clean and beautiful. There were even fish swimming there, and people used to have picnics by the river. I started to think how bad it should be to see things you like disappearing, and even worse, I thought about everything my future kids won t be able to see. That s so sad! So, from now on, I ll do my part: I ll go green. No more plastic bags or paper napkins for me. If everybody does something green, we can save our planet.
