32 Genesis 18 Abraham's Celestial Visitors Abraham's welcome 3& said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: 4Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, & wash your feet, & rest yourselves under the tree:

Genesis 18 Abraham's Celestial Visitors 33 5& I will fetch a morsel of bread, & comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. & they said, So do, as thou hast said. 6& Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, & said, Make ready quickly three (3) measures of fine meal, knead it, & make cakes upon the hearth.

34 Abraham's Celestial Visitors Genesis 18 7& Abraham ran unto the herd, & fetched a calf tender & good, & gave it unto a young man; & he hastened to dress it. 8& he took butter, & milk, & the calf which he had dressed, & set it before them; & he stood by them under the tree, & they did eat.

Genesis 18 36 The visitors inquire of Sarah by name 9 Where is Sarah, your wife? the visitors asked. She s inside the tent, Abraham replied. 10Then one of them said, I will return to you about this time next year, and your wife, Sarah, will have a son! They know her name! Sarah was listening to this conversation from the tent. 11Abraham & Sarah were both very old by this time, & Sarah was long past the age of having children. 12So she laughed silently to herself & said, How could a worn-out woman like me enjoy such pleasure, especially when my master my husband is also so old? NLT

13Then the LORD (Yahweh) said to Abraham, Why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say, Can an old woman like me have a baby? 14Is anything too hard for the LORD? I will return about this time next year, & Sarah will have a son. 15Sarah was afraid, so she denied it, saying, I didn t laugh. But the LORD said, No, you did laugh. NLT Genesis 18 The LORD prophecies 37 Sarah denies laughing

Genesis 18 38 The LORD Yahweh is having a conversation! Then a prophecy about Abraham! 16& the men rose up from thence, & looked toward Sodom: & Abraham went with them to bring them on the way. 17& the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great & mighty nation, & all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19For I know him, that he will command his children & his household after him, & they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice & judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
