The Real Meaning of the Words "Evangelization is bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ into every human situation and seeking to connect individuals and society by the divine power of the Gospel itself." Evangelization is about conversion. 9
The Real Meaning of the Words Stewardship is the way disciples of Jesus choose to live their lives. They recognize that everything they have is a gift from God, and they strive to use those gifts to honor and serve God, to help other people, and to make the world a better place. Stewardship is about conversion. 10

Combining Stewardship & Evangelization Start a Stewardship & Evangelization Team Read and discuss the USCCB documents Think and pray about the gifts and needs of the parish. Brainstorm ideas about what kinds of things will spark new life and faith in the parish community. Look for ways to make your parish more welcoming. Encourage committee members to invite other parishioners to use their gifts in starting new projects and new ministries. Keep track of the good things that happen as a result of evangelization and stewardship. Share the stories with the whole parish. 32
