Suggestions for Summer Prayer Topics SUNDAYS Our God sent his son to earth who was born in poverty and died in disgrace and thought it well worthwhile (Dorothy L Sayers). Bring your worship to God for all that he is, and for his great love and goodness. MONDAYS Let s stand in prayer, hope and God s strength as we remember our persecuted brothers and sisters around the wold. (Peter Chin). Lift to God Christians worldwide who have to pay a great price because they want to serve God. TUESDAYS In the middle of the mundane, God is faithful and always will be (Jeff Lucas). Pray for what surrounds you: our church, Larne, politics and government, the work of God through CAP, our frieds and neighbours, our province. WEDNESDAYS Our authority is in Christ. Our deliverance is in Christ. Our healing is in Christ. Everything we have ever longed for and sought is in Christ. (Sheila Walsh). Thank God for all he is to you. Pray for someone else who needs to know him too.

THURSDAYS Ordinary peple, who discovered that they had a contribution to make in the fulfilment of their own prayers and hopes... that would be us (Jeff Lucas) Pray about what you hear and see in the news, local and global, good and bad, happening now, today. FRIDAYS I m so grateful for the Bible. It s a tremendous blessing that God has revealed himself and his plans to us. (Andy Rogers). Read some Bible verses (eg a psalm) and pray through what God says to you in his word. SATURDAYS Who is willing to confess sin and lose face? Truly through the love of the Cross there is strength and enabling for man to obey. (Lin Heping). Bring yourself and your probems before God today.
