Nominations for 2013 LIGHTHOUSE OUTSTANDING MISSION VOLUNTEER The Baptist State Convention of Michigan will be presenting several LIGHTHOUSE LEADERSHIP AWARDS at this fall s Annual meeting. One of those awards will honor an OUTSTANDING MISSION VOLUNTEER. Your help is needed! Please think about lay people you know that you feel are worthy of such recognition and let us hear from you. We realize that there are many who could fit this requirement; however, for this purpose only one individual (or couple) will be selected. Any member of a cooperating Michigan Baptist church can make a recommenda tion that will make a difference! No DR connection is required. This training is also open to all DR volunteers in Region 4 (MI, OH, KY, TN, IN, IL, IA, MN/WIS). **Chaplaincy Requirements: DR Basic and Unit Training Must have been deployed at least once. Basic Chaplain Training (12 Hours) Occupational Stress First Aid or Critical Incident Stress Management Bring bedding and personal items to stay overnight at the church or make your own arrangements at local motels.
