Dad ROBERT ROGERS, JUNE 12, 2018 It has taken days to grasp the loss of a dear friend, Tony (T Rex). Tony always a great father, friend to so many and a mentor who always had the time. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Taken too soon, an angel called home. See you again my friend. CYNTHIA RODGERS, JUNE 12, 2018 Renee, We are truly heartbroken having heard the news about Tony. There are no words that can express our deep sorrow for the loss you bear. There is no pain more far reaching and deeper than the loss a child. Just know that you are in our every thought and prayer, we love you. Miles and Jill Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. MILES AND JILL, JUNE 12, 2018 I am very sorry for the loss of Tony to his family. I have know Tony professionally for many years. I know he was a great father and loved Tucker dearly. I feel he and I had a true friendship and will miss seeing him personally and professionally. STEPHEN D. COLBERT, JUNE 12, 2018 I'm so sorry for the loss of Tony. Strength and comfort to his family and friends. RIP. JOHN WILSON, JUNE 12, 2018 My deepest condolences. Tony was a man of character, integrity, and compassion. He will be deeply missed. SHANNON PERRYMAN, JUNE 12, 2018 My Team mate, my brother and my friend, you will be missed. I can still see
you impersonating coach Estes in the defensive end room. And him not catching on to the joke. It feels like yesterday when we were doing green-bays or bear crawls or any of the other most tortuous drills that the bobcat coaching staff could come up with that you would make us all laugh when we felt like crying. I remember you and I writing a rap song on a road trip that introduced "Salt and Pepper" to the world. I still laugh at you being the only white guy playing the dozen's. T-Rex it doesn't surprise me that you touched so many in your life after college. My prayers to your family and Rest In Peace. MARSHALL SANDERS, JUNE 11, 2018 It does not surprise me that Tony was so heavily involved with baseball and that he has been such a great role model for kids up in the McKinney area. I had the privilege of knowing him through my graduate assistant work on the football team during the late 1980's. Tony was a first-class individual and always brought smiles to players' faces even in the most taxing situations. Plus, he was a great football player that played the game with his heart. He was "ALL IN" at all times. This whole situation breaks my heart for his son, his family, and his dear friends. He is definitely a man that will be missed. May God Bless all of you that have been a part of Tony's life. TOMMY PSENCIK, JUNE 11, 2018 Renee, I have no words for the grief your are going through. I know your heart is completely broken... the boys are your life, as Patty is mine. I am praying for you, Tony, and all of your family. I love you, Donna DONNA KALCHBRENNER, JUNE 11, 2018 Tony was not only a brother in law, but a friend. He invited me into his world with open arms. He always had a hug to offer when we had family gatherings. He was truly interested in my life, and what was going on in it. We shared many memories together, a family trip to England, and the many, many, many outings we had while we were there. The cookouts, the social gatherings, and the holidays when our families got together. One particular memory I have that I will remember forever, and hold dear to my heart. It was when he invited me to go out for a beer in Richardson. (I get a big lump in my throat, and teary
eyed when I think of this memory), anyway, we were at a bar in Richardson on Main Street. We both ordered a beer, and we talked for a long time about what was going on in our lives and such. He then pulled out a box and put it on the counter. (I am getting teary eyed now) He said to me, "I am going to ask your sister to marry me, and I wanted you to be the first to know. I am telling you before your dad, because your opinion means a lot to me, and you mean a lot to me. I wanted to get your BLESSING." I will always remember that night. I will miss Tony, each and every day, I will often think of our times together and smile when I do so. I know you will be looking after your family and friends from Heaven, and that is a great comfort. CHRISTOPHER JAMES, JUNE 11, 2018 Tony was a quality guy, one of those few who everyone enjoyed and called a friend. I have lived next door for the past couple of years, he was real excited for the future getting married and moving into his new home. A wonderful father that loved Tucker so much. He will be missed dearly. JOHN B, JUNE 10, 2018 To my friend Renee. My heart aches for you and your family. I pray for your strength and the healing power of love this day and all the days to come. My sincerest condolences, Alfreda ALFREDA NORMAN, JUNE 10, 2018 Tony was such a great and funny guy. My heart is heavy right now and my thoughts and prayers are with Lisa and his family. DEANNA ENLOW, JUNE 10, 2018 Tony, Teri & Tucker allowed me to stay in their homes on multiple occasions over the years. I was treated like a Rex and shown the kindest hospitality you could imagine. I would sit up late with Tony talking about everything, work, ambition, an excellent series of baseball jibes, the sort that could only come from a Cubs fan having to talk baseball with a Cardinals fan. Tony shared so much knowledge with me over those years, not to mention all the fun and laughs we had along the way. He was a role model in every sense of the term and has had a huge impact in how I've grown as a person. I'm devastated I
won't be able to repay that. The world has lost someone remarkable. My sincere condolences to Tucker, Teri, Renee and all others who shared their lives with Tony. Wherever he is now, he will be making it a better place, of that I have no doubt. Rest well, friend. SIMON HIBBERD, JUNE 10, 2018 I borrowed this song from Elton John because it s better than any words I could come up with: Who lived here He must have been a gardener that cared a lot Who weeded out the tears and grew a good crop And we are so amazed, we're crippled and we're dazed A gardener like that one, no one can replace And I've been knocking But no one answers And I've been knocking Most of the day Oh, and I've been calling Oh, hey hey Tony Can't you come out to play? Now we pray for rain and with every drop that falls We hear, we hear your name JOEL, JUNE 10, 2018 I am sorry, may you have many prayers! MARK, JUNE 9, 2018 I am so sorry to hear this and am in shock. My son and I have known Tony for many years. DOROTHY ELFORD, JUNE 9, 2018 Tony was a great man who loved kids and showed it in his dedication to youth sports. He had a tremendous impact on our son, Peyton as he was one of Peyton s first coaches. He will be missed. ROBERT AND TERESA WILLEFORD, JUNE 9, 2018 Oh Renee, I am so incredibly sorry to read this. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Whether this was expected or unexpected, the loss of a child is devastating. I am sending you positive, healing thoughts my friend. SHERRIE KEENAN, JUNE 9, 2018 RIP my SWTSU brother. DEXTER WEBB, JUNE 9, 2018 T Rex, as we would call him, was a Great Friend, and teammate. He could make you laugh and always kept you POSITIVE.
