I taught both Greek and English Exegesis covering the Gospels of Mark, John, and the Epistles of Romans and Revelation. I also did instruct the students on Greek language. 2001-2002: Vicar St. Philips Kihara Parish- Diocese of Mt. Kenya South. I started the ACK Kihara Academy, which is now up to standard six. I worked closely in this Parish with the Matatu people in order to alleviate poverty, whereby we started the ACK Kihara Co-operative Sacco, it has been able to give a number of loans to the people concerned 2000: Vicar Sousville Parish- Diocese of Pretoria- South Africa. Here I gained cross- Cultural experience, working among different South African groups gave me the chance to relate with different people. I did cross-cultural studies on one to one with different groups during Bible study sessions organized by Rev. Dr. Tim Long rector of Trinity Parish. 1997-1999: Vicar Thogoto Parish Diocese of Mt. Kenya South. Here I did buy a church plot next to Kikuyu Day Secondary School and built a church there. The congregation had only twenty members when I was posted there and I left it with a total of 120 members. 1996-1997: Vicar Giachuki Parish-Diocese of Mt. Kenya Central. As the vicar of this parish, I managed to help a number of young people to join theological colleges. 1995-1999: A part-time lecturer ACC & S Bible College Kigumo, for the four years I instructed the students in Church history and New Testament Studies. Here introduction to 2

the New Testament books was done focusing on date, authorship, outline, and key themes. 1995-1996: Curate Thika Memorial Parish- Diocese of Mt Kenya Central, I was a youth pastor and helped the priest in charge with day to day duties of running the Parish. 1985-1989: Teaching Kiangage Primary School, I was the teacher in Charge of Agriculture and sports in this school. As a Rural Dean I was in charge of a number of parishes with several priests under my direct guidance. 2001: Appointed the Kenya representative of Open-Hand U.S.A. this is a Christian organization based in USA that deals with children problems. Since then I have cofounded Open-Hand Children s home with two other ladies. 2001: Appointed Chairman of the Link Committee in the Anglican Church- Diocese of Mt. Kenya South. During my tenure I was able to organize group exchanges and I personally went to serve in one of our link Diocese in South Africa. 1998: Appointed chairman of the Youth Department- Diocese of Mt. Kenya South. I mobilized the young people to join the Church in large numbers.
