BTCC NEWSLETTER Wednesday, November 1, 2017 Trail News The weekly Youth/Children s Church will be Wednesday, November 1, from 6:30-8pm. Ages are from 3 years old thru 12 th grade. Meals are included. The weekly Round Pen Bible Study will be Wednesday, November 1, from 7-8pm. We meet at 6:30 for a meal so come early. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Invite a friend and bring your bible, a favorite dish to share and a drink and plan on joining us. The study will be held in the Sanctuary. Mixed adults. The weekly Women of Faith Bible Study will be Thursday, November 2, here at the church, beginning at 6:30 for snacks and fellowship. Please bring your own drink and a snack to share with the group. The study starts at 7pm. The group is studying the Women of the Book of 1 st Samuel. All ladies are invited and encouraged to bring a friend. BTCC Arena Team presents Peaster Rodeo Practice Thursday, November 2, from 6:30-9pm. This is a weekly practice every Thursday. The weekly Friday night Sorting Practice will be Friday, November 3, starting at 6:30pm. The cost is $25 The Youth Team will be providing food for suggested donations only. The November Ladies Night Out will be Saturday, November 4, at the R & K Diner on Santa Fe in Weatherford starting at 5pm. All ladies of the church are invited to attend and encouraged to bring a friend. This is an opportunity to meet and fellowship with like-minded ladies and build relationships. R & K Diner accepts CASH ONLY but there is an ATM located in the lobby. For any questions please contact Chelsea Russell, Team Leader of Women s Ministry. All prelim Team Budgets are due Sunday, November 5. Please have your budgets ready, annualized and itemized. The monthly Arena Team Meeting on Sunday, November 5, immediately following services.. If you are a member of this team, please plan on attending. The weekly Women s Bible Group will be Monday, November 6, with the study of the Book of 2 nd Timothy. This study begins at 6:30 with food and fellowship with the study starting at 7pm. All ladies are invited. BTCC weekly College/Career Group is Monday, November 6, from 6:30-8pm at the home of Boone & Channing Massey.

The BTCC Arena Team weekly Barrel Practice will be Tuesday, November 7, from 7-9pm. Cost is $10 per horse. There will be a Missions Team Meeting at 9:30am on Sunday, November 12. Please plan on attending this meeting if you are a member or would like more info on volunteering. The Youth Team will be hosting a Fajita Lunch directly following services on Sunday, November 12, preceding the Youth Family Play Day. Suggested meal donation is $10 per plate. All profits will benefit the 2018 Youth Camp fund. The Youth Team will be hosting a Veteran s Day Family Play Day on Sunday, November 12, starting at 12pm. All events are free. See flyer below for more detailed info. The Missions Team will be serving at the Center of Hope on Monday, November 13, from 9am-2pm. If you would like to volunteer to help out with either cooking or serving please contact Missions Team Leader GayeLynne Jennings at 903-539-0547 or Center of Hope Leader Dianna Browning at 817-901-5447. The Ladies Only Intro to Horse/Cow Clinic will be Monday, November 13, from 7-9pm. This Clinic is biweekly on the 2 nd and 4 th Monday of each month. This is Intro Clinic only, no Intermediate. The cost of the clinic is $20 per horse. The clinic will be led by Kelie Crim. For more info contact Kelie at 817-902-5538. Our Annual BTCC Thanksgiving Meal will be held directly following services on Sunday, November 19. Everyone is invited to join us for this awesome meal and share great food and fellowship. If you are a member of any team, check with your Team Leader on what you can provide. The tentative date for the November BTCC Leadership Meeting will be directly following services on Sunday, November 26. This meeting is for all Elders, Lay Pastors and Team Leaders only. If you belong in any of these categories, please plan on attending. If you cannot attend, please assign someone from your team to represent. Hoof Beats DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDS THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4, AT 2AM. PLEASE REMEMBER TO RESET YOUR CLOCKS BEFORE GOING TO BED! The Missions Team now have the 2017 Cookbooks available, in hand. The new books cost $12. Please see Peggy Lampkin to purchase yours, just in time for the holidays! The Women of Faith weekly Bible Study will break for the holiday season. The final study of the 2017 year will be Thursday, November 9. The study will resume in January, 2018, still under the topic of Women of the Bible. Effective immediately! The Youth Team will now be providing food and drink every Friday night during the Sorting Practice for suggested donations only. Menu will change each week. BTCC will be honoring our Veteran s on Sunday, November 12. Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, the Church Office will be closed Thursday-Saturday, November 23-25. The Missions Team will have Christmas Angels to adopt by Sunday, November 26, if not before. Please see GayeLynne Jennings to receive yours.
