Story: A prayer for help Once Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions were faced by an enemy of 1000 people at a place called Badr. At that time the Muslims had only 2 horses and about 70 camels. The place where they were camped had very dry, loose sand which made it difficult to walk and there was no source of water anywhere near them to drink. However, their enemy had all the benefits; they were in greater number, they had all kinds of weapons and they were camped at a site where the ground was hard. They also had a few wells that provided them with drinking water. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ lifted his hands and made dua unto Allah جل جلاله to help the Muslims against their enemy. Allah جل جلاله answered his dua and caused a rainfall which hardened the ground as well as providing fresh water to drink. At the same time, this rainfall had caused the ground on the enemy side to become slippery and the water in their wells became muddy and undrinkable. The following day, Allah جل جلاله helped the Muslims to fight against their enemy by sending down angels to fight with them. In the end the Muslims had defeated their enemy with the help from Allah جل جلاله who is All-Hearing.

It is against Umar (R.A)'s ruling and it is dishonest." The mother replied "Umar (R.A) is not here and he does not know what we are doing." The daughter replied to her mother by saying "We must obey Umar (R.A), even if he is not here. Besides, he may not know but how can we hide from Allah جل جلاله? He sees everything and knows all."
