Ministry Updates Ongoing Collections: All items may be placed in the donation drop off areas in the Craven Hall Lobby and Sanctuary Narthex. Prison Ministry will be collecting stick antiperspirant during the month of January. Food Pantry will be collecting grocery bags during the month of January. 2017 Women s Retreat Women s Retreat, February 24 26, 2017, Caraway Conference Center in Sophia, NC. This annual retreat is a time away to deepen friendships with other Christian women and broaden our relationship with God. The weekend is designed to give women who constantly serve others a time to be served in a sweet and peaceful setting. The interactive weekend is filled with music, singing, prayer, teaching, and fun! Two, three, or four per room ($200); Single room ($225). $25 deposit is due at time of registration. All High school youth are invited to PsalmSupper, where we enjoy dinner and psalms! Each night we study the next psalm which is presented in a unique, creative way. Prayer Ministry at Maple Springs Pray without ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Maple Springs will publish names of persons seeking prayer so that the entire congregation may pray for those in need. Contact Betsy Bechtel in the church office betsy@maplesprings.org or (336)-722-7563. The names will remain for two weeks unless notified otherwise. The church also has a confidential intercessory prayer ministry. Confidential requests for the pastors or the prayer group may also be submitted through the bulletin tear-out. Those names will not appear in the church bulletin, but those persons and situations will receive prayer. Pray for church leaders worldwide: Pastors, program staff, preschool teachers, Sunday School teachers, local church officers, committees, ministry volunteers,.
