I personally am looking forward to a wonderful Christmas, and a outstanding New Year. We had a great meeting this month with the possibility of adding three new members.? As we mention at each meeting it is very important to bring new guests to our meeting in hopes of expanding our membership. I believe that the Ladies Day Luncheon was a wonderful event for our ladies. I want to thank Hal Snow for doing an outstanding job putting together the awesome event, Dan Franke for arraigning the entertainment, and Tom Silver for the Photograph contest. Last but not least I would like to thank the Sir's members of the Woodworking group who constructed the wonderful wood products that were sold during the luncheon. Next month will be my last month as Big Sir, and I wish to thank everyone in advance who has assisted me throughout the year. For those friends that will not be able to attend the December meeting, I would like to wish them and their families a very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year.

LITTLE SIR-DAN FRANKE 944-7676 Happy Holidays! I know...how can it be almost Thanksgiving and soon December and all that Christmas/Hanukkah hustle. Busy time for all of us. I hope you learned something from our November speaker Dr. Jennifer Rothschild. Next month our speaker will be Nancy Scovill (wife of our SIR Dennis Scovill). Nancy will be speaking about her research into her fathers WW II story. I am sure it will be an interesting presentation. Remember our December luncheon will be on the 17th due to Christmas. Bring a friend! Great job on the trivia question last month. Two tables with the correct answer. Next month our trivia question will be about Mt. Saint Helens. WOOD WORK CHAIRMAN DON LANGLEY 944-4219 The Woodworkers met at my shop on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10:00 with the warm pot belly stove. Gene Holdren provided the donuts. We had our usual bull session and show and tell. Hal Snow brought a new member, Mike Hutchin, who is a possible new SIRS member also. We repaired a cabinet door for Gene, sliced some black walnut on the band saw for Hal and planned for our next meeting on December 18th at 10:00, again at my shop on Grant Avenue in Carmichael. Our plan is to have Dan Franke show us the use of the lathe. Dan does some great work and it should be interesting. Everyone is welcome to attend, woodworker, or not. It's always just friendly fun.
