Syllabus Contents and their objectives: August: Unit 2 (1) Cleanliness Pages:1719 Cleanliness Allah Almighty has commanded us to keep ourselves pure and clean. Cleanliness is an essential part of Islam. Children who keep themselves and their clothes clean and tidy please Allah Almighty and are loved by people. Germs and dirt makes us sick. Keep the environment neat and clean. Holy Prophet (PBUH) said; Cleanliness is half of faith. How can we keep our environment clean? Students will be asked to clean their classroom and tidy it up with the help of their teacher.

September: Unit 2 (2) Salam Pages: 2022 Salam When Muslims meet each other they say Assalam o Aliekum which means May peace be with you. In reply they say Walaikum as Salam which means May peace be with you too When we enter home we should say Salam. It increases our love for others and Allah is pleased with us. We should say salam to our teachers and our fellow students in school. Hadees. The one who greets first is the one closest to Allah Almighty. When Muslims meet what do they say first? What is the meaning of Assalam o Aliekum? What did Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) say about the Islamic greeting? Unit 2 (3) Good habits Pages: 2324 Good habits Good actions please Allah Almighty. Always obey your parents and elders. Speak politely to everyone. Sit down and drink water with right hand. Wash your hands when you come out of washroom. Do not fight with each other. If someone is sleeping be careful not to disturb them. Say Jazak Allah when someone gives you something. Never make fun of others. Do not talk rudely to poor people be gentle to them. Do not ill treat animals take care of them. What are the good habits that we should have? What should we say when someone helps you? How should we treat animals? Students will be asked to make a chart and write down five good deeds they have done.

Unit 3 (3) Divine books Pages: 2932 Divine books Allah s sayings are saved in special books called Divine books. Allah has shown us how to walk on the right path and ordered us to avoid bad actions. Four divine books are: 1. Torah to Hazrat Musa(A.S) 2. Zaboor to Hazrat Dawood(A.S) 3. Injeel to Hazrat Isa(A.S) 4. The Holy Quran to Hazrat Muhammad(PBUH) Holy Quran is the last complete book of Allah and no other book will be revealed after it. It is the most superior book. The revelation of Holy Quran was completed in 23 years. There are 30 paras and 114 Surahs in Holy Quran. Model Questions. What are the names of the special books of Allah? How many divine books are there? Name the last book of Allah. Students will be asked to write the names of any four Surahs from the Holy Quran. Stealing is a bad habit Stealing is a bad habit To take other people s things without permission is called Stealing. It is unlawful in Islam to take even a small thing without permission. If everybody follows the instruction of Holy Quran there would be no stealing. If you find anything that does not belong to you return it to any elder or teacher. What is stealing? What will happen if everybody follows the instruction of Holy Quran? February:

Unit 4 (1) The Prophets of Allah Almighty Pages: 3334 The Prophets of Allah Almighty Special servants chosen by Allah Almighty to convey his message to the people of the world are called Prophets Messenger means one who brings a message. First Prophet was Hazrat Adam(A.S) Last Prophet is Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Total number of Prophets is: one lakh twenty four thousand. Name of Prophets: 1. Hazrat Musa(A.S) 2. Hazrat Isa (A.S) 3. Hazrat Nooh(A.S) 4. Hazrat Ismail(A.S) What is meant by the word Messenger? About how many Prophets has Allah Almighty sent? Students will be asked to share the stories of Prophets if they know any. Hazrat Dawood(A.S) Hazrat Dawood (A.S) Children of Israel had a wise king named Dawood. Allah had given Dawood the gift of music. He was gifted with Prophethood by Allah and received the divine book Zaboor. Allah taught Dawood how to make coats of armour. The miraculous quality of Hazrat Dawood(A.S) was that iron used to turn soft as wax in his hands and he used to mould it into armour. His son Sulaiman took the throne when he died. What miraculous quality did Allah gave to Hazrat Dawood(A.S)? Which divine book was revealed to Hazrat Dawood(A.S)? March:

Unit 4 (3) Our dear Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Pages: 3840 Our dear Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Our dear Prophet s name is Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH). He was born in Makkah the city of Saudi Arabia. His father s name was Hazrat Abdullah and his mother was Bibi Amna. His father passed away before he was born and when he was six years old his mother too passed away. His grandfather brought him up but when he was eight years old his grandfather too passed away. Then his uncle Abu Talib took care of him. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) passed away at the age of 63. His grave is in Madinah. He is the last prophet of Allah no Prophet will come after him. Where was our dear Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) born? What was the name of Holy Prophet (PBUH) parents? Where is he buried? Will any other Prophet come into this world after the Prophet (PBUH)? The man of the two gardens The man of the two gardens Two friends lived in a village each of them had beautiful garden full of fruit trees and crops. One of them said I am richer than you and my garden will flourish forever. He sounded proud. Allah has given us everything. He is the most powerful. We should not forget Allah who has given us everything and be thankful to Him always. What did the two friends have? Why was one of them proud? Why should we thank Allah? April:
