UCIBS Classes: Union Chapel Institute of Biblical Studies classes have already begun for the spring semester. There is still time to register for Bible College classes. Historically Black College and University School Spirit Day February 11, 2018: Sunday, February 11, 2018, has been designated as HBCU School Spirit Day. Join the Education Assistance Ministry as we kickoff our Annual Historically Black College and University Fair. Show your school spirit. We are asking all members to wear your favorite HBCU colors and/or gear. Visit the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum and the Museum of Mississippi History March 17, 2018: The fee to enter is $10.00 per person. Weekly Meetings/Seminars and Conferences Intercessory Prayer Ministry The Intercessory Prayer Ministry held on Wednesdays before Noonday Bible Study will resume on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Youth Department Union Chapel Christian Academy We are GROWING. Union Chapel Christian Academy is now officially a k5 thru 7 th grade school and enrolling for the 2018 2019 school year. Education Assistance Ministry February 17, 2018: The Education Assistance Ministry will host the Annual Historically Black College and University Fair on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The HBCU Fair will be at the Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Charles L. Ray, Jr. Family Life Center. We will have representatives from over 30 colleges to discuss opportunities, scholarships, and admission requirements. There will be a financial aid session designed to help parents complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and identify other funding sources for college tuition and expenses. Collegiate Age Ministry (CAM): If you are a student in college or a parent of a student in college, you are asked to fill out an informational form located at the Welcome Center. Qualifications: Proven experience as computer technician or similar role; experience with networks, thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components, good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles, excellent troubleshooting skills, very good communication abilities, exceptional organizing and time-management skills, BS/BA in Computer Science, engineering, information technology, or relevant field, relevant certifications will be an advantage.
