Session 2: viewer guide Three terms used for forgiveness in Psalm 32: Forgiven, Covered, and not counted Homework: Let s find a place where we can be all alone and free to voice our confessions of sin to our gracious and merciful Father. Remember, He already knows and He s never let us go. For us to verbalize where we know we ve sinned is our means of thinking each transgression through and acknowledging that we have wandered from the will of God and want to turn our course back to Him in each way. Our genuine confessions and true repentance are means of bringing our sins right to the altar of sacrifice where provision has been made for us. Here we cry out and acknowledge that we want every barrier to divine fellowship and joy removed. Listen, Sister, this is what the cross of Christ was for. Let s not be too proud or too ashamed to say how much we require what He s already accomplished for us. Christ s death on the cross was enough no matter how far we ve wandered or how deep a pit we ve dug for ourselves. If it were not, I d be a lost cause, and the last place you d find me is here in Bible study with you.
