Panorama of the Bible This is a 12 Week study through the entire Bible, with the goal being to obtain a basic overview of God s story as He has worked it through all of history, and will work it through all eternity. Panorama will be a bit of a challenge to a lot of students. This study would be great discipleship material with those who might have already gone through our study on Napkin Theology or Basics of Theology and are wanting to continue to learn and grow with you. Be very upfront from the beginning that this study will be entirely led by them and their amount of time and effort that they want to put into it. Whereas, some of the other material will have lots of questions to guide the material, this will be 100% student driven. So, be upfront in the beginning. Ask them to commit to 12 weeks, no more, no less. Keep the time goal consistently in front of both you and the student. That way, you can measure the progress you ve made and see how far you ve come as you work your way through the Bible. Panorama is just that a broad stroke look at the entire Bible. The goal is to be able to take all of the stories that we hear in church, and many of us grew up hearing in Sunday School, of various people and places, and be able to hang it on a timeline and know where it all fits together and how God, in his sovereign will, fit it together so that we are where we are right now in the 21 st century, the church age, looking forward to the Return of Christ. Each student should be expected to read the required material each week, bring in journal entries from the material, as they write down their thoughts/questions/comments with the Scripture. Each weekly meeting, discuss their observations and questions and interact with the Scripture. Have fun with it!
