Thank you for joining us today as we begin our Advent celebration. As we remember the birth of Jesus Christ and as we anticipate His return, we join together to sing God s praises. May you be richly blessed as you continue to follow the Son of God who was born as a son of man. SUNDAYS IN ADVENT thank you to Rob Braun who will be leading us in the series, Thy Kingdom Come: the meaning of Messiah. Rob will be sharing on the coming presence of God's kingdom in a world in chaos. SECOND OFFERING TODAY GEMS/Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior The second offering today will be taken to support the theme development needs for our GEMS ministry. SEEKING GOD S FACE DEVOTIONAL We praise God for the multiple boxes of devotionals which have been spoken for. Wednesday morning prayer group is going to be using it every week and we encourage others to consider using it for your groups. Inside you will find a daily devotion and a Scripture that you can pray right from the Word. They are only $15 and are a great tool to unite us in prayer. COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL IN PEASE will be performing their Christmas musical at the Pease Church at 7:00pm, Friday, Dec. 6 th. Terrific 3's will perform prior to the musical as well as our newly formed band. A free will offering will be taken to support the music program. HOLOCAUST LITERATURE AND ART - Beginning January 20, 2014, Calvin Christian High School will offer a community education course, Holocaust Literature and Art, on the school's campus in Fridley (755 73rd Ave. NE). Using the lenses of a biblical worldview, explore the Jewish Holocaust through literature, music, art, and the personal testimonies of local Holocaust survivors.
