Proverbs 17:27 The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered. Proverbs 19:19 A hot tempered person must pay the penalty; rescue them and you have to do it again. Proverbs 26:17 Like one who grabs a stray dog by the ears is someone who rushes into a quarrel not their own. Proverbs 30:33 Proverbs 27:15 Proverbs 25:28 Proverbs 14:17,29 Proverbs 15:18 Proverbs 16:32 Proverbs 17:27 Proverbs 29:11 DAY 3 PROVERBS ON RESPONDING Proverbs 10: 12 Proverbs 21:23 Proverbs 15:1 Proverbs 18:13 Proverbs 13:03 Proverbs 9:7b Proverbs 11:12 Proverbs 11:13 Proverbs 4:24 DAY 4 PROVERBS ABOUT FLATTERY For as twisting the nose produces blood, so stirring up anger produces strife. Quarrelsome wife is like a leaky roof ina rainstorm. Like breaking a city wall Fool has a short temper Calm control it Patience is power Better than capturing a city Understanding cools the temper The wise hold their tongue Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers all wrongs. Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity. A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. To answer before listening is folly Those who speak rashly come to ruin he who says sharp words to a sinner gets a bad name. Whoever derides their neighbor has no sense, but the one who has understanding holds their tongue. A trustworthy person keeps a secret. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.

DAY 6 PROVERBS ABOUT GRACIOUS WORDS Proverbs 12:18 The words of the reckless pierce like swords but the tongue of the wise bring healing. Proverbs 16:24 Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Proverbs 25:15 By forbearance a ruler may be persuaded, And a soft tongue breaks the bone. Proverbs 31:26 She opens her mouth in wisdom, And the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. Proverbs 24:26 Like a precious jewel wise words to others Proverbs 7:34 Attend to your words DAY 7 PROVERBS ABOUT BEING CHEERFUL Proverbs 12:25 Anxiety weighs down the heart but a kind word cheers it up. Proverbs 12:14 From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things Proverbs 17:22 A cheerful heart is good medicine. Proverbs 18:14 The human spirit can endure in sickness, but a crushed spirit who can bear? DAY 8 PROVERBS ABOUT BEING LAZY Proverbs 26:16 A Sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than 7 people who answer discreetly. Proverbs 10:26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him. Proverbs 13:4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. Proverbs 15:19 The way of the sluggard is as a hedge of thorns; but the path of the upright is made plain. Proverbs 13:14 The lazy person craves, yet receives nothing, but the desires of the diligent are satisfied. Proverbs 1:32 Waywardness kills, complacency destroys.

DAY 9 PROVERBS ABOUT GUARDING THE HEART Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. He makes sport of the men of pride, but he gives grace to the gentle-hearted. He who gives teaching to a man of pride gets shame for himself; if your heart is full of pride, you only will have the pain of it. Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Do you see a person wise in their own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for them. DAY 14 PROVERBS ABOUT TROUBLES Proverbs 24:10 If you falter in time of trouble, how small is your strength!
