We thank J&T Huonder and C&K Kiel for serving the MN Teen Challenge Choir when they arrived today!

Thanks for joining us today as we worship the God of mercy, healing and transformation! We especially welcome the choir from MN Teen Challenge (and their friends and family) who will be leading us in worship. May God be praised for His love and His power! WE WELCOME MINNESOTA TEEN CHALLENGE today as they share God s love and faithfulness to His children. Please plan to stay with us after the service for the lunch we will be serving and get to know our guests better. Even if you haven t brought something, plan to stay as there is always enough food for everyone! SECOND OFFERING TODAY MN ADULT & TEEN CHALLENGE - MN Adult & Teen Challenge offers both a long-term faith based recovery program and a shorter-term treatment program allowing them to serve individuals with a broad spectrum of addiction issues; from those seeking treatment for the first time, to those who have been struggling with addiction for many years. Every Sunday, groups from Teen Challenge residents visit regional churches where they share inspirational songs and personal stories of their recovery from addiction. The choir provides a unique learning environment and plays an integral part in the recovery process as residents truly benefit from giving vocal expression to the life change what they have experienced. GIVE THANKS WITH YOUR BETHEL FAMILY this Thursday, Nov. 28 th at 9:30am, Thanksgiving Day. Please plan to join us as we gather to express our gratitude to God for His many blessing! An offering will be taken during the service for our Benevolence Fund which assists people in our congregation and our local community. SEEKING GOD S FACE DEVOTIONAL We praise God that the two boxes of books which were ordered are already spoken for and another box is on its way. Wednesday morning prayer group is going to be using it every week and we encourage others to consider using it for your groups. Inside you will find a devotion for each day and a Scripture that you can pray right from the Word with. COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL IN PEASE will be performing our annual Christmas musical at the Pease Church at 7:00pm, Friday, December 6. Terrific 3's will perform prior to the musical as well as our newly formed band. A free will offering will be taken to support the music program. We ask families refrain from reserving seats, although we understand why you would and love your enthusiasm. Bring a friend and enjoy the program. THANKSGIVING EVE ECUMENICAL SERVICE - Choir folk are asked to be at Trinity at 6:00pm on Wed. Nov. 27th. The service will begin at 7:00pm. LETTERS FOR LARRY Thank you to all who participated in writing letters to Larry last year at Christmas and Easter time. Here is an update which was recently received: I just wanted to update you on my brother-in-law Larry. He passed away a week ago in the hospital. I spoke with him and he was really grateful for all the letters and cards which really touched him and came at a time when he was in need of them. We are thankful that you chose to care for one as Jesus would have and be imitators of Him. Be encouraged to consider involvement in Prison Fellowship at: www.prisonfellowship.org. BIBLE STUDY FELLOWSHIP UPDATE Praise List: Host Church is Central Lutheran Church, 1103 School Street, Elk River; Meeting Monday evenings from 6:50-8:50; Grand total of 76 women and 20 students registered; 6 leadership interviews scheduled over the next week; "Last Chance" Presentation has been set up at our host church on Dec. 3 at 7pm. This will be the last chance to sign up before our Welcome class on Feb. 3; our first class night. Prayer List: That God would raise up His leaders, and that they would answer His call with a Yes. That He would provide the key positions of Assistant Children's Supervisor and a Substitute Teaching Leader soon, so they can be trained; Pray for Beth, Chris and Linda preparing to train women to be leaders. That God would give us wisdom and the ability to complete what He has called us to do. HOLIDAY MAIL FOR HEROES When filling out your Christmas cards, take a card and send it to: Holiday Mail for Heroes, PO Box 5456, Capitol Heights, MD 20791-5456. Please consider passing this idea on and think of how many cards these wonderful people who have sacrificed so much would get. The deadline is December 6 th, 2013.
