Rubie Nottage says that the $20,000 will be distributed as such each year. It will be divided ito half of $10,000, oe half will be give to four studets at etry level- based o criteria of eed ad merit. The prime objective is for studets i eed to obtai these scholarships. The other $ 10,000 will be divided ito 1,000 awards for studets i the 3rd year of a 4-year credited course at the Uiversity of The Bahamas. Accordig to UB Presidet, Dr. Rodey Smith, the Uiversity is pleased to have aother fried ad UB paret cotribute to the uiversity s studets ad their educatio. He says that the Bethel family is creatig studets with a better world view, which i tur makes them better atio builders. This scholarship had helped UB to lauch a ew policy where all udergraduate studets at the Uiversity will be required to complete a study abroad experiece by the ed of their third year ad they will be required to complete their degrees at UB. This award will be icreased ad give to the wiers every year o July 4th.
