A Highpoint Church Resource All Bible verses quoted from the English Standard Version unless otherwise noted.

Week 1: Fast for His Church Day 1: Pray for the members of Highpoint Church. Jesus reminds us in John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. On behalf of the members of Highpoint, ask the Lord: for protection over our local body, Highpoint Church; to reclaim what s been stolen; to revive what s been killed; to restore what s been destroyed. Lord, on behalf of the whole of Highpoint Church, we receive beauty for ashes, passion for apathy, and abundance for scarcity. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 1: Fast for His Church Day 2: Pray for the leadership and staff of Highpoint Church. Peter encourages the church leadership in 1 Peter 5:1-4 So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. On behalf of the leadership and staff of Highpoint, ask the Lord: for protection; to care for our church and its ministries; for eagerness, energy, and excitement; for encouragement as they lead. Lord, on behalf of the staff and leadership of Highpoint Church, we receive the nature of a servant leader, wisdom and discernment, and a greater anointing. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 1: Fast for His Church Day 3: Pray for the local and global partnerships of Highpoint Church. Paul teaches us 1 Corinthians 3:6-9 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building. On behalf of the local and global partnerships of Highpoint, ask the Lord for: protection over their ongoing ministry; renewed vision, whether it be one of planting or watering; dependency on the Lord to make their ministry grow; more volunteers, resources, and a greater harvest. Lord, on behalf of the local and global partnerships of Highpoint Church, we receive a greater impact, a greater vision and harvest, and an abundance of Your rewards in 2018. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 1: Fast for His Church Day 4: Pray for the future generations of Highpoint Church. Peter quotes Joel in Acts 2:17-19... And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke On behalf of the future generations of Highpoint, ask the Lord for: revival and spiritual awakening; more of the Holy Spirit to be poured out; dreams, visions, and prophecy that explicitly build up the church; a holy life filled with purity, forgiveness, and God s power. Lord, on behalf of the future generations of Highpoint Church, we receive the promise of greater power, greater miracles, and an anointing and boldness to proclaim the goodness of You. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 1: Fast for His Church Day 5: Pray for the global Church (all believers everywhere). Paul says in Ephesians 4:1-6... I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. On behalf of the global Church, ask the Lord for: unity in the Spirit with peace; the ability to hold fast to the glorious hope for the future; the ability to focus on Jesus Lordship, our faith, our baptism, and God the Father; the proclamation of the forgiveness of sins for all who repent (Luke 24:47). Lord, on behalf of Your global Church, we receive unity, peace, vibrancy, hope, Spirit-filled authority, and for us all to be known by love. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 1: Fast for His Church Day 6: Pray for Highpoint s ministry to the city of Memphis. Isaiah says in Isaiah 54:2-3... Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your offspring will possess the nations and will people the desolate cities. Ask the Lord for: more space for those yet to join us; the courage for Highpointers of all ages to invest and invite; future Highpoint campuses. Lord, on behalf of the city of Memphis, we receive peace over pain, beauty over blues, and more people going public in 2018 than ever before. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 1: Fast for His Church Day 7: Pray for Highpoint Church to be perfected in unity. Jesus prayed in the garden in John 17:20-23 I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. Ask the Lord that as a church family: we would be unified in vision and direction; we would be a platform for God s love; we would experience God intimately in a unique and corporate way. Lord, as Highpoint Church, we receive Your love, Your unity, and Your intimate presence. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 2: Fast for His Work Day 8: Pray for repentance, forgiveness and redemption. Paul wrote in Ephesians 1:7-10... In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. Ask the Lord: to show you if there s anything in your life you need to turn away (repent) from; to forgive you for any wrongdoing; to heal and make right the things He s showing you. Lord, I receive Your work of forgiveness in my life, Your work of redeeming me, and I receive Your wisdom. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 2: Fast for His Work Day 9: Pray for healing and restoration. Mark told a story in Mark 9:20-29... And they brought the boy to him. And when the spirit saw him, immediately it convulsed the boy, and he fell on the ground and rolled about, foaming at the mouth. And Jesus asked his father, How long has this been happening to him? And he said, From childhood. And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us. And Jesus said to him, If you can! All things are possible for one who believes. Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, I believe; help my unbelief! And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again. And after crying out and convulsing him terribly, it came out, and the boy was like a corpse, so that most of them said, He is dead. But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose. And when he had entered the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could we not cast it out? And he said to them, This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer. Ask the Lord for: those that are hurting to be healed; more faith in God s plan to heal you; your complete healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually; more intimacy in His presence.

Week 2: Fast for His Work Lord, I receive Your work of healing and restoration in my life, and I receive Your gift of faith. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 2: Fast for His Work Day 10: Pray for grace and mercy. Paul reminds us in Ephesians 2:4-10 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ask the Lord for: a revelation of more grace; the gift of mercy; the ability to show grace and mercy, sharing them with others. Lord, I receive Your work of grace and mercy in my life, and I receive the good works you have for me. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 2: Fast for His Work Day 11: Pray for adoption and reconciliation. Paul tells us in Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. Now read The Message version of these verses: How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son. Ask the Lord for: you to be known as one adopted by God; the ability to enjoy the intimate Father-child relationship with Him; His character of being a gift-giving Father to be fully present in your heart and mind.

Week 2: Fast for His Work Lord, I receive the assurance that You ve adopted me and that I m Your child who you love to give gifts to. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 2: Fast for His Work Day 12: Pray for peace. Jesus promises in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. Ask the Lord: to turn your pain into peace; to make you a vessel of peace; to cause the hurting, abused, neglected, addicted, religious, and distraught to experience the Prince of Peace. Lord, I receive Your peace in my life a peace that surpasses all understanding and I receive Memphis being known as a place of peace. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 2: Fast for His Work Day 13: Pray for love. John, the one whom Jesus loved, teaches us in 1 John 4:7-12 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. Ask the Lord to: help you understand how much He loves you; allow His love to be manifested in you; teach you to love others so His love can be perfected in you. Lord, I receive Your love in my life. I also receive Your love in order to give it to others. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 2: Fast for His Work Day 14: Pray for revival. Jesus proclaims in Luke 6:27-36 But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back. And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them. If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount. But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. Ask the Lord: for the ability to forgive, bless, and love those who hate you; for opportunities to show love and mercy to those who are different from you; to use you to share revival with others. Lord, I receive a revival of Your love in my life. I receive the ability to be revival to others. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 3: Fast for His People Day 15: Pray for unity. Paul writes in Colossians 3:12-14 (New American Standard Bible)... So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. Ask the Lord: to show you any complaint you might have against someone else; for the strength to forgive that person as the Lord has forgiven you; to let love be what binds us all together in perfect unity. Lord, I receive forgiveness and the ability to forgive. I receive Your love as the thing that binds our church in perfect unity. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 3: Fast for His People Day 16: Pray for favor. The Psalmist remembered Moses prayer in Psalm 90:16-17... Let your work be shown to your servants, and your glorious power to their children. Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands! Ask the Lord: to show you what He s doing in His glorious power; for more of His favor; to take what He s doing and establish you in the thick of it. Lord, I receive Your favor with humility. I receive my part in Your plan. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 3: Fast for His People Day 17: Pray for an undisturbed life. Micah the Prophet proclaims in Micah 5:4-5a... And he shall stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God. And they shall dwell secure, for now he shall be great to the ends of the earth. And he shall be their peace. Also read the New Living Translation... And he will stand to lead his flock with the Lord s strength, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God. Then his people will live there undisturbed, for he will be highly honored around the world. And he will be the source of peace. Ask the Lord to: make you a person who lives undisturbed by anything; cause you to lead out in His strength; give you a platform of His peace to the world. Lord, I receive Your promise of an undisturbed life where You ll be a source of peace. I receive Your strength. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 3: Fast for His People Day 18: Pray for an unhindered life. Paul s life is an example to us and is written about in Acts 28:30-31 He lived there two whole years at his own expense, and welcomed all who came to him, proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance. Ask the Lord: for the ability to proclaim the Kingdom of God; to use you to teach others about Jesus; for the boldness to live out love unhindered. Lord, I receive a welcoming, hospitable spirit. I receive the unhindered life that will boldly proclaim the Kingdom of God. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 3: Fast for His People Day 19: Pray for signs and wonders. Jesus promises in John 14:12-14 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. Ask the Lord: for a deeper faith for, and a greater belief in, the supernatural; to increase as you decrease; to display His power and for you to see miracles. for whatever you need from Him, in accordance with who you know Him to be. Believe He can do it, pray He will do it! Lord, I receive that You re able to do more than I can think, hope, or imagine, so I receive the miraculous. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 3: Fast for His People Day 20: Pray for generosity. Paul explains God s perspective in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Ask the Lord: for a generous heart that willingly gives everything (not just money); to change the places in your heart that could be labeled sparingly to be labeled bountiful ; for cheerfulness especially when giving! Lord, I receive a cheerful heart. I receive Your blessings together with opportunities to bless others. In Jesus name, amen.

Week 3: Fast for His People Day 21: Pray for legacy and impact. When God s chosen people were stepping into the Promised Land for the first time, Joshua said this in Joshua 4:4-7 Then Joshua called the twelve men from the people of Israel, whom he had appointed, a man from each tribe. And Joshua said to them, Pass on before the ark of the Lord your God into the midst of the Jordan, and take up each of you a stone upon his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the people of Israel, that this may be a sign among you. When your children ask in time to come, What do those stones mean to you? then you shall tell them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it passed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. So these stones shall be to the people of Israel a memorial forever. Ask the Lord to: remind you of the stones He s shown you during this fast that He wants you to use to tell the stories of His faithfulness. Write them down! engrave those things into your legacy. Lord, I receive all the promises You have for my life. I receive Your legacy in my life. In Jesus name, amen. and let us know what God s been saying to you over the past 21 days.
