All parishioners are requested to pay their parish dues of $160.00 per adult member. Keep in mind that $100.00 of this amount is sent to our Diocese in south Bound Brook, NJ, as was decided at our Church Sobor. The balance of $60.00 remains in our parish. That is why it is important to use your weekly offering envelopes to help maintain the work of the parish. May Our Lord s blessings be upon Yana, daughter of Lidiia & Yuriy Turchyn, who will receive the Holy Sacraments of Baptism and Chrismation today. Mnohaya Lita! Yesterday our Ukrainian Orthodox Church began the solemn preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Christmas on January 7 th. During the next number of weeks we, as faithful children of our Holy Church, are asked not only to fast from certain foods but, more impiortantly, to receive the Sacraments of Holy Confession and Communion and to do good works for those in need. Make a strong effort to visit the sick and elderly and do other random acts of kindness. Our U.O.L. Chapter will sponsor its annual Christmas Craft Fair next Sunday, December 6 th. A tremendous amount of work is required this week to prepare for it. Please read the Calendar of Events for this coming week s work schedule days and times. Volunteers are needed to come and help. Also, on Sunday, craft fair workers are requested to attend the 7:15 a.m. Pro-Liturgy in the church.
