A MESSAGE FROM OUR PASTOR On yesterday we memorialized our dear Mother Gloria Philmore. She is now at peace and at rest with the Lord. We continue to remember and pray for her daughter Samarah and relatives here at Beulah. Postponed Church Conference: Please allow me to ask your forgiveness for having to postpone the Church Conference on Thursday. The Joint Board was not able to approve the Budget Committee s recommendation for 2018. We were hindered by Spiritual Warfare. The Budget Committee completed the process but the Joint Board could not reach an agreement for approving. We therefore postponed the decision to our next Joint Board meeting on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Please pray for us. THEME FOR 2018: Please be reminded that our Theme for the year 2018 is: A Church building from within through Divine Leadership. We will begin the building process by offering a series of Convocational classes on Leadership the entire month of February. All Church officers are being encouraged to attend. CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations are in order as we welcome our newest Mother to the Mothers Board, Mother Jacqueline Malcom. SECURITY MINISTRY: Under a security program that was developed by Rev. Tony Gibson, in 2018 we will begin our personalized Security Ministry. In order to be successful, we need some volunteers to submit to the training and be responsible for being the security eyes of Beulah. If you would like to become a member of our Security Team, please call the office and submit your name for this Ministry. PRAYER FOR THE SICK: Please continue to pray for the sick and shut-in. They are recovering at home or in a nursing home facility and in need of our prayer. Please pray a special prayer for Mother Mary Hamilton who is recovering at Manor Care in Carrollwood. BIBLE STUDY: This week s Bible Study will be preempted by our Leadership Convocation being taught by your Pastor the first two weeks; the third week by Dr. Rogiers; and the fourth week by Rev. Brenna Taylor. We are encouraging all leaders and members to attend this most important study. The Tuesday noon Bible Study is being taught by Brother Dwayne Merriweather. We serve healthy and wholesome meals on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please join us for two informative sessions. Thank you. ** HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
