[Jonas Myrin, Matt Redman, c.2011, Shout! Publishing (ASCAP) and Thankyou Music (PRS); by permission CCLI #459447] Welcome and Call To Worship Opening Prayer Leader: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. PEOPLE: AND ALSO WITH YOU. Leader: Almighty God, PEOPLE: to you all hearts are open, all desires known, and from you no secrets are hidden. Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you, and worthily magnify your holy name; through Christ our Lord. Amen. Prayer of Confession: Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbours as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us, that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your name. Amen. Absolution 9:00 a.m. PRAISE EUCHARIST Sunday School on lower level Nursery Care on Lower Level Processional Hymn: 10,000 Reasons Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul; worship His holy name. Sing like never before, O my soul; I ll worship Your holy name. The sun comes up, it s a new day dawning. It s time to sing Your song again. Whatever may pass, and whatever lies before me, let me be singing when the evening comes. You re rich in love and You re slow to anger. Your name is great and Your heart is kind. For all Your goodness I will keep on singing; ten thousand reasons for my heart to find. Priest: The peace of the Lord be always with you. PEOPLE: AND ALSO WITH YOU. Collect of the Day: (said together) Lord God our redeemer, who heard the cry of your people and sent your servant Moses to lead them out of slavery, free us from the tyranny of sin and death, and by the leading of your Spirit bring us to our promised land; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. Praise Song: My Lighthouse In my wrestling and in my doubts, in my failures You won t walk out. Your great love will lead me through. You are the peace in my troubled sea, whoa, oh. You are the peace in my troubled sea. In the silence You won t let go. In the questions Your truth will hold. Your great love will lead us through. You are the peace in my troubled sea, whoa, oh. You are the peace in my troubled sea. And on that day, when my strength is failing, the end

Chorus: My Lighthouse, my Lighthouse, shining in the darkness; I will follow You, oh, my Lighthouse, my Lighthouse, I will trust the promise You will carry me safe to shore, safe to shore, safe to shore, safe to shore. I won t fear what tomorrow brings, with each new morning I ll rise and sing. My God s love will lead us through. You are the peace in my troubled sea, whoa, oh, You are the peace in my troubled sea. Bridge: Fire before us, You re the brightest. You will lead us through the storms (hey). (Repeat) [Rend Collective, c. 2013, Thankyou Music; by permission CCLI #459447] Praise Song: At The Cross There s a place where mercy reigns and never dies. There s a place where streams of grace flow deep and wide, where all the love I ve ever found comes like a flood, comes flowing down. Chorus: At the cross, at the cross I surrender my life. I m in awe of You, I m in awe of You, where your love ran red and my sin washed white. I owe all to You, I owe all to You. There s a place where sin and shame are powerless, where my heart has peace with God and forgiveness, where all the love I ve ever found comes like a flood, comes flowing down. Bridge: Here my hope is found, here on holy ground. Here I bow down, here I bow down, here arms open wide, here You saved my life, here I bow down, here I bow interlude Jesus. (repeat bridge 2X) [Chris Tomlin, Ed Cash, Matt Armstrong, Jonas Myrin, Matt Redman; Countless Wonder Publishing/Fots Music/McKittrick Music/Universal Music; by permission CCLI #459447] Praise Song: Your Love Never Fails Nothing can separate even if I ran away, your love never fails. I know I still make mistakes but you have new mercies for me every day. Your love never fails. Chorus: You stay the same through the ages. Your love never changes. There may be pain in the night but joy comes in the morning. And when the oceans rage I don t have to be afraid because I know that you love me. Your love never fails. The wind is strong and the water s deep, but I m not alone here in these open seas, cause your love never fails. The chasm is far too wide, I never thought I d reach the other side. Your love never fails. Bridge: You make all things work together for my good. (repeat 2X) [Anthony Skinner Chris McClarney, 2008 Thankyou Music (Admin. by EMI Christian Music Publishing); by permission CCLI #459447] First Reading: Revelation 7:9-17 (page 871) Reader: A Reading from the book of Revelation. (The Reading of the Gospel page 683) Reader: The Gospel of Christ, People: Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. Sermon: The Canon Phil Bristow The Apostles' Creed: (said together, standing) I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. Offertory Hymn: Our Church Here we are now, a crowd assembled, peace like incense fills the air, men and women, the sounds of children, young and old have come to share. Pre-Chorus: In the safety of this place we have gathered by His grace. Chorus: This is our church, our family of faith. On this holy ground we re all the same and we are the joy of God on display whenever we meet in Jesus name, whenever we meet in Jesus name. Walls are falling, hearts disarming as His presence ushers in. Waves of mercy fill the building as His spirit stirs within. Bridge: From the suburbs and the streets we have gathered to receive, some with plenty, some with need, cause we are a family, His family. [Allen Salmon & Tim Neufeld, c. 2014, Free the Salmon Music (Admin. by Music Services, Inc.); by permission CCLI #459447]
