Prayer Guide For The Glory of God The word literally means heavy in weight. The verb form means to give weight to something or someone. It is to recognize the importance of a person or the weight they carry in the community. To give God is to recognize and give him a very heavy or important place in our life. The noun form of speaks of the weight or the importance and character of someone. Thus the of God speaks of His divine attributes and perfection. To see God s in our presence is to see His true character of majesty, dignity, splendor, holiness and power. When Isaiah went to the temple he was overwhelmed by God s. As a result, he immediately saw his sinfulness. This prayer guide is focused on praying for God s in our lives. That means we are praying that we will see the true character of God in his holiness and power. As that happens in our lives and in our church, it will be as life changing as it was for Isaiah. God s in our midst is like breath in our body without it we are dead! Pray that God s will fill your life and our church in such a way that people will be drawn to Jesus and he will give them life.
