As we are starting the 7 th month of 2018, we are coming along. We need $10,000.00 every month. We have paid our bills. In June, we were not able to put money into our Apportionment fund. The summer months are here, and as a pattern at Easton Place, the giving drops. What if this year, we don t let that happen? If you are going to be gone, drop your offering in the mail, or drop it by the church. We have a lot going on at Easton Place, and we want to do more, but it can t happen if we don t give. As the Bible tells us, God only wants what is already His. Think about it. If everyone is giving what the Lord asks, think what we could accomplish! Circle Reports EPWU General General had a good meeting at 11:00 am on June 6, 2018. Sandy ran the business meeting since Julie wasn t able to be there at the earlier time. We met earlier because Easton Service Group wanted to have a picnic as our program. Plus, we wanted to include all the wonderful women of Easton Place. There were fifteen of us women who picnicked in the fellowship hall (good place because it was 93 degrees outside). We ate delicious food and had a great fellowship. It truly was fun. Next General isn t until September, hope you ll join us then. Deborah Circle We met on June 13, 2018 at 6:30 pm at Hilltop for delicious Italian food. Jeannie opened with devotions about praying during the gray times as well as the sunny times. The treasurer s report was read. The prayer for the least coin was read. Phyllis made a motion to buy 3 fans for seniors. Bev seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. We sand Johnny Appleseed for our grace. The meeting was adjourned and we enjoyed the meal and fellowship that followed. Esther Circle Friday, June 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm our wonderful fearless leader, Virginia called Esther Circle to order with five in attendance. Virginia began our meeting by telling us her story of her illness and recovery. Thank You Jesus for all those involved. Sandy read the April minutes that was accepted as read. Julie then read the treasurer s report for Janice who was vacationing. New Business: We planned our places to eat out for our July and August meetings. The July 13 th meeting will be held at Perkins on E Euclid at 10:30 am and the August 10 th meeting will be at Barratta s on South Union at 12:30 pm. Virginia then turned the meeting over to Diana for devotions. Diana read from Mornings with Jesus for today s date. Philippians 3:13-14. Forgetting about what s behind and looking to what s ahead. Pressing toward the goal. Diana closed with prayer. We adjourned to a table with an orange theme, cookies and ice cream served by our hostess Sandy Mathews. Respectfully Submitted Sandy Mathews Mary Circle Easton Service Group Easton Service Group was blessed on June 14, 2018 when we had our meeting at Pastor Daniel and Susee s new beautiful home. Six of us met at the church at 12:30 pm and then car pooled to their lovely home in Ankeny. Upon arriving we were treated to a tour, then Romona led us in a short business meeting. After which Susee had a great program based on Psalms 42. Then Susee served us delicious apple pie ala mode, and Pastor Daniel got home in time to join us for pie. It really was a lovely afternoon. Thank you Susee! 7
