Apostles Creed I believe in God the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. Communion Welcome and Distribution All Baptized Christians are welcome to join with us in this meal where we believe the true body and blood of Christ are present and received in, with, and under the bread and wine. Adults who do not receive the Supper or children who have not received first Communion instruction are encouraged to come forward for a blessing. We commune by Intinction. As you are ushered forward, extend your hand to receive the bread and then dip it either into the wine or grape juice. White grape juice is available as a substitute and is offered in the second cup and a gluten free wafer is also available please asks your server. You are also welcome and invited after receiving Communion to the altar rail for a brief time of prayer and meditation. 11
