Concordia s Growing in Christ Scope and Sequence Summary Growing in Christ and Cross Explorations both follow the same three-year scope and sequence, so you can use each program on its own, or mix the two on different levels. FALL: Old Testament WINTER AND SPRING: The Gospels and Acts SUMMER: Topical studies Opening (10 minutes) This relationship-building time helps leaders and kids prepare their hearts for Sunday School and introduces the week s Scripture verse and Bible story. God Speaks (20 minutes) Kids get to the heart of the Bible story through discussion, skits, music and singing, Bible readings, articles, and more.
