Virtuous Woman Proverbs Chapter 31:10-31 Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her house hold, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Here husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
Mrs. Ward s Favorite Songs Jesus Is Coming Soon Christ is All VERSE 1 Troublesome times are here, filling men s hearts with fear; Freedom we all hold dear, now is at stake. Humbling your heart to God, saves from the chast ning rod. Seek the way pilgrim s chod. Christians awake! VERSE 1 I don t possess houses or lands, fine clothes or jewelry. Sorrows and cares in this old world my lot seems to be. But I have a Christ, who paid the price way back on Calvary, And Christ is all, - all in all - this world to me. Jesus is coming soon, morning or night or noon; Many will meet their doom; trumpets will sound. All of the dead shall rise; righteous meet in the skies; Going where no one dies, heaven-ward bound. Yes, Christ is all, He s everything to me Yes, Christ is all, He rules the land and sea. Yes, Christ is all without Him nothing could be. Christ is all - all in all - this world to me. VERSE 2 Love of so many cold; losing their home of gold; This in God s Word is told; evils abound. When these signs come to pass, nearing the end at last, It will come very fast; trumpets will sound. VERSE 2 There are some folk who look and long for this world s riches. There are some folk who look for power, position, too. But I have a Christ, all in my life, this makes me happy. For Christ is all, all and all, this world to me. VERSE 3 Troubles will soon be o er; happy forevermore, When we meet on that shore, free from all care. Rising up in the sky, telling this world goodbye; Homeward we then will fly, glory to share. VERSE 3 Yes, Christ is all, means more to me, than this world s riches. He is my sight, my guiding light through pathless seas. Yes, it s mighty nice to own a Christ, who will my friend be. Yes, Christ is all, all and all, this world to me.
Mrs. Ward s Favorite Songs King Jesus Will Roll All Burdens Away VERSE 1 When I should feel so sad Why does my heart feel glad Why does my soul feel so happy and gay For all around me burdens fall Yet I m not worried at all That s why I say All Away All Away If to Him I pray For He opens doors for me Doors I m unable to see That s why I say VERSE 2 Like a king on his throne I m never left alone For I have a friend who walks with me each day And all He asked me to do Just keep His word and live true If I obey TAG: That s why I say Just One Rose Will Do VERSE 1 When time shall come for my leaving When I bid you adieu I ll go to a beautiful garden At last when life s work is through. VERSE 2 I ll need no organization To make a bid to-do, I ll need no fine decorations, I ll go to a beautiful garden At last when life s work is through. VERSE 3 Just have an old-fashioned preacher To preach a sermon or two I ll go to a beautiful garden At last when life s work is through.
