JESUS MY DAILY BREAD GLORIA COPELAND AND KELLIE COPELAND JULY 16-20, 2018 DAY 1 WHO IS RULING YOUR TEMPLE? What drives you? And what needs to be driven out of your life? Jesus is calling us to let go of alternative sources and let Him be the God and Source of our temple. STUDY IT I. Jesus is bringing His Body together, raising us up (John 6:54), as He reveals His truths to us. Until you know it all, you have to keep studying. Jesus came to reveal it all line upon line, precept upon precept (Isaiah 28:10). The Holy Spirit knows everything, and when we stay hungry and incline our ears to hear God s voice, we can have all of His knowledge and guidance (1 John 2:20). Jesus came as Emmanuel, which means God is with us. He desires to fill you up to a greater degree. As we begin to allow Jesus to pour His presence on us, we begin to look like Him and our Father God, both corporately and individually (John 17). II. Jesus becoming our Daily Bread, our ultimate Source and Sustenance, begins with faith. Believe you receive Jesus as your Manna today, not by works, but by faith. Say what you want to come to pass. Jesus gave us the words to say (Mark 11). Why did Jesus need a young donkey that had never been ridden (Mark 11:1-3)? Because He got the direction from His Father, and it fulfilled the prophecies written about Him in Zechariah 9:9. Jesus didn t do anything without purpose (John 5:30). He only did and said as the Father God commanded Him. The priests and teachers didn t like the truths Jesus shared, because He brought correction and cleansing (Mark 11:15-19). How many times does Jesus bring cleansing to us through correction, and we resist it? Jesus answered the fig tree, and the disciples witnessed the drying up of the fig tree (Mark 11:12-21).

III. What drives you? What needs to be driven out of your life? What Jesus saw in the Temple didn t match what the Word and His Father had said about it. The Scriptures declared the Temple to be a house of prayer, not a marketplace or den of thieves, so He corrected it (Mark 11:15-17). Jesus is all about motive. He always judged Himself, His actions and His motives by what His Father had told Him to do. Let the Scriptures declare what you want for your temple. Drive every evil thing out with the Word of God and the power of the Name of Jesus. o If sickness tries to come on you, picture Jesus turning over the sickness table in your temple (1 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:4). o Drive out lack with God s Word (Philippians 4:19). o Knowing what the Word says is your ammunition. Jesus didn t do battle on His own or without God s Word. When the Spirit of God comes to drive out alternative sources or roots of evil, the flesh rises up (Mark 11:18). Jesus desires and expects us to join Him in faith to correct things in our lives that are out of place and not rooted in Him, His Word and His plan. Once the evil roots are dried up, there s room for Jesus to come in. MAKE IT PERSONAL What is going on in your temple? Let Jesus drive out every negative and evil thing trying to control your life. If you find there are alternative sources you need to feel happy or in control of your life, it s time to take those to Jesus. The first thing you can do is set aside your time to pray, worship and show Jesus how much you love Him. Ask the Lord what your time together should look like, and begin to take that time seriously as if it were your daily meal. Your spirit needs sustenance to live well, just as your physical body does. Lord Jesus, I ask that You reveal Yourself in a greater way to me. I want to know You deeper. I ask You to reveal any evil way or alternative sources in my life and drive them out now. I repent for every way that my temple spirit, soul, and body does not align with the Father God s plan. I commit to spend daily time in Your presence, and I treasure You, Your Word and Your presence. Now, spend time soaking in Jesus presence, Word and plan for your life.

JESUS MY DAILY BREAD GLORIA COPELAND AND KELLIE COPELAND JULY 16-20, 2018 DAY 2 FAITH IS A LIFESTYLE A lifestyle of faith is simply allowing the Scriptures to bear witness about who you are, just as Jesus did. Jesus is the ultimate example of how to live a life of faith in God. STUDY IT I. Jesus is the ultimate example of how to live life. He s our Door, Way, Life and ultimate Source (Mark 11). The fig tree spoke to Jesus with lack (Mark 11:12-14). Jesus spoke back, as we should. What are you saying to things that speak to you? Let Jesus drive out alternative sources in your life, so He can be Lord of it. In John 5:30 (TPT), Jesus says, "Nothing I do is from my own initiative, for as I hear the judgment passed by my Father, I execute judgment." Don t wait until you re perfect to say, I have great judgment, because I get my judgment from Jesus. Saying it gears your life toward His life and plan. Jesus continually geared His heart to only do what His Father said. o Example: In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus didn t want to drink the cup of suffering given to Him, but said, Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done (Luke 22:42). o Jesus knew the Father s will was a cup He had to drink that night in the garden. o If Jesus hadn t said, Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done to the Father God, salvation would not be available for us today. II. Faith is a lifestyle. We can copy Jesus. Don t let go of the things God has taught you in order to listen to something or someone else. Stay rooted in what you know, and let Jesus add to your root as you listen to others. o Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). o Don t base your life on people; base it on the Word of God. You can follow others as they follow Christ, but your faith should always stay rooted in Jesus. We need to allow the Scriptures to say who we are and bear witness about our lives as Jesus did (John 5:31). o Are you anchored or rooted in your circumstances or in the Word of God?

o Hook yourself to Jesus, and no matter what Satan or others do to you, you can and will overcome. The Truth is the only thing that will make you free (John 8:32). III. Have faith in God (Mark 11:20-26). When you agree with God s Word, and say it and take it, then God will make sure it comes to pass in your life. Peter was shocked that the fig tree was shriveled up, but Jesus didn t question if His words would come to pass. He believed Mark 11 for Himself. Jesus never let anything come to Him that spoke against what the Father said. He always drove out the evil and brought it in line with His Father s Word (Matthew 16:23). What Jesus said, He really believed and didn t question. Your Father s (and Jesus ) judgments are perfect (John 5:30). If you hear something from the Father or see it in the Word, you don t have to doubt. That s the way you re supposed to live. MAKE IT PERSONAL Think about how many times we use the phrase, I don t know. It s time to replace it. Instead, say, I have great judgment, because I get my judgment from Jesus. First John 2:20, ESV, declares, But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. As Kellie Copeland says, You don t have to wait to be perfect before you begin to use your faith to have His perfect judgment. And as you speak it, begin to expect God s voice to speak direction back. Don t just forge ahead on your own way. Take time to pause when decisions need to be made, to confer with the Lord and see what His judgment is, just as Jesus did with His heavenly Father.

JESUS MY DAILY BREAD GLORIA COPELAND AND KELLIE COPELAND JULY 16-20, 2018 DAY 3 TOTAL RELIANCE ON JESUS Jesus passed the tests in the wilderness by saying, It is written. Jesus calls us to learn how He was always submitting to and resting in His Father s will. His life inside you is the key to driving away every evil thing. STUDY IT I. Have faith in God means have faith in Jesus (Mark 11:1-23). Jesus had complete faith in God s good plan. He didn t try to figure it all out for Himself (John 5:30). When we start trying to make our own plans, and working too hard to figure things out, we mess up. Jesus will pour out His plan for us, if we let Him. II. Have total reliance on Jesus. Throughout history, Jesus has been continually coming to reveal Himself to us. Jesus gets the plan from the Father and gives it to the Holy Spirit to give to us. Jesus wants to drive out and turn over the tables of things that don t belong in our lives. We need to work with Him on it. Jesus is trustworthy. We need to be fully persuaded of the divinely implanted (inward, not outward) confidence that Jesus presence brings. Like the wise man drawing from a deep well for his needs, we draw wisdom and faith from Jesus presence on the inside of us (Proverbs 20:5). Jesus is the Initiator and Developer of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). III. Jesus desires us to learn how to rest in Him, just as He rested in submitting to the Father s will (Matthew 11:28-30). Jesus didn t listen to options that took Him away from the Father s will (Matthew 4:1-14; Luke 4:1-14). o Jesus passed the tests in the wilderness by saying, It is written. o It can be a temptation to try to save your own life, or even your kids lives, from all challenges. Jesus didn t say we wouldn t have tests, temptations or challenges (John 16:33). o It s good training for your children to watch you trust God and His Word in the midst of challenges (Proverbs 22:6).

o When we don t resist the voices/lies from other source than Jesus, we have to eat the fruit of our own way, not the fruit of His presence in us (Proverbs 1:31). o When you don t know what God s Word says about you, then you don t know what to believe or say (Romans 10:17). o You can t have faith in God for something He didn t say. Jesus plainly told His disciples His Father s plan, but the disciples didn t hear because they were listening to something else. Like Jesus did when He was tempted by Satan through Peter, we have to answer unbelief back. The key to living in THE BLESSING is living in the Word and knowing what it says before the attack comes. IV. Because Jesus knew who He was in the Scriptures, He knew when a lie came. If you don t know the truth, you can t recognize the lie. Don t reprimand Jesus (like Peter) when something doesn t go your way. Get quiet and listen for His direction, so you and Jesus can drive out the evil forces trying to lead and attack you (Matthew 16:23). When you resist what Jesus says to you, you deny His power in your life to deliver you. Additional scriptures: Genesis 3; Luke 2; John 14; 1 Corinthians 6:19 MAKE IT PERSONAL Has there been something that Jesus has been diagnosing you with, but you haven t wanted to listen? Like Saul (Paul) on the road to Damascus, it is truly useless to fight God s will. In order to receive God s delivering power in your life, you must listen to His voice. Maybe you are believing for healing, but you haven t wanted to listen to God about a specific diet change. Whatever you are using your faith for today, remember that faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). So, it s time to listen to what He is saying. Say: Lord, please forgive me for pushing Your voice away. I ask You to reveal Your will to me today! I submit myself fully to You. In Jesus Name. Amen.

JESUS MY DAILY BREAD GLORIA COPELAND AND KELLIE COPELAND JULY 16-20, 2018 DAY 4 JESUS IS MY RHEMA Having faith in God means that Jesus is your one Source the Bread of Life. You live by the words that come from Him. STUDY IT I. If you want to enter the rest, then do as Jesus does (Matthew 11:28-30). Jesus drove out every voice that wasn t from His Father (Mark 11). If you are trusting in human flesh instead of trusting in Jesus, you don't even recognize when good comes your way because your eyes are elsewhere, trying to find something else to rely on (Jeremiah 17:5-6). Satan wants to keep us on the hamster wheel of trying to please God, but not knowing what God is saying to us. It pleases Jesus when we know what the Word says and we do it, not by trying to live a life of perfection, but a life found in His perfection (James 1:4). II. Jesus resisted the lie, because He knew the truth (Matthew 4:1-11). Jesus practiced not listening to anything that His Father didn t say. When we don t practice listening only to what God is saying, a good idea can become another source we hook into apart from Jesus. Have faith in God (Mark 11:22-24). He is the one Source the Bread of Life. Man doesn t live on bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God (Mathew 4:4). o Word in this scripture is the Greek word rhema. o Words (logos) become rhema when they are communicated. o A believer can wield the rhema (Word) from God like a sword (Matthew 4:4; Ephesians 6:17). Jesus wasn t saying that Peter was Satan, but He was resisting the words coming out of Peter s mouth because they were a temptation/trap from Satan (Matthew 16:22-23). o Satan is the father of all lies (John 8:44). o Satan wants you to fall into the trap of being consumed by your current outlook in order to get your eyes off of Jesus.

Peter failed and denied Jesus because he wasn t prepared and practiced in following the Spirit, not the flesh. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus tried to get Peter to pray and be prepared for Satan s temptation, but Peter chose to sleep. We need to leave our own way and follow Jesus (Matthew 16:23-26). o You are a dangerous trap to Me. o Jesus recognized the trap of the enemy and refused to be caught in it. o The Greek word for trap was a box trap held by a stick. If you don t take the bait, you don t get trapped. o Making your own choices is the trap. Confess: Jesus is my Shepherd. I know His voice and follow Him only (John 10:27-28). Additional scripture: John 5:30 MAKE IT PERSONAL What was the last thing you heard God tell you to do? Have you done it yet? The believer lives every day by the rhema Word of God, not just by devouring and confessing Scripture, but by believing it as if you met with Jesus face to face, and heard His voice speaking the logos words into your life. If it feels like it s been a while since you heard Jesus voice, try to think back. Is there something that He told you to do, and you ve gone your own way, or haven t gotten to it yet? A great way to practice is to let Jesus reveal a scripture to you. Set aside time today to allow Jesus to speak to you from His Word, so that you can wield it like a sword in your life. Hebrews 4:12 (NLT) says: For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Purposely reading the Word in the Presence of Jesus becomes alive and vital! Time in the Word will easily become a strong desire to you when you read it in the Presence of the Author Himself! Dear Lord Jesus, You know me fully, and I want to know You fully. Please reveal a scripture today that brings the Father s direction for my life. I love You. (Now, pause to listen to His voice. When He directs you toward a scripture, hear Him reading it to you.)

JESUS MY DAILY BREAD GLORIA COPELAND AND KELLIE COPELAND JULY 16-20, 2018 DAY 5 BELIEVE IN THE ONE GOD SENT Jesus desires to become the only Answer to our every need. Our job is to believe in Him that He was sent by God and desires to meet our needs. STUDY IT I. God wants us to know what the Word of God says about our lives, so when the lie comes, we can push it out and receive the truth (Mark 11). Jesus wants to do in our temple (life) as He did in the Temple in Mark 11 realign us with God s Word. If you don t know the truth, you won t recognize the lie. The truth makes you free (John 8:32)! II. Where can we buy bread (John 6:1-15)? When we are honest with Jesus when He asks us questions, it allows Him to teach and correct us, and bring us into truth and victory. Jesus is interested in our hunger both spiritually and physically (John 6:5). Andrew saw the potential of a seed the boy s five loaves and two fish but then he second-guessed himself. III. There is enough of Jesus to go around. When He is there, there is no lack. Jesus doesn t want you to suffer lack, hunger and sickness. You can say what the Word says, and act on the Word Himself (Jesus). When Jesus fed the people, they wanted to make Him their king. The people and disciples thought Jesus mission was to be a warrior-king, but His crowning came from God the Father. Let Jesus in your boat. He ll get you where you need to go (John 6:16-21). Jesus knew the people wanted to be with Him for the food (John 6:26). Jesus will use our natural needs to bring us to our true spiritual needs like He did with the Samaritan woman (John 4:1-42). You confess the Word to receive your needs met, but your focus should always be on Jesus and your need for Him. Let Jesus be the center of your life.

IV. Jesus wants to lead you into a life of abiding with Him, where your needs are always met, and you re not constantly coming to Him only to solve your problems (John 15). When you keep Jesus on a shallow level, just to get your physical needs met, you ll eventually experience failure and dry up spiritually. Jesus is ready to give us what matters the most Himself (John 6:27). Don t focus on what you can do; focus on what Jesus wants to do. Satan wants to absorb people s minds in what they can do to create a miracle. If you become consumed with what you can do to have a miracle, then the miracle is your responsibility to bring to pass. We do what Jesus says to do, but it begins by doing what He says to and simply believe. The work that you can do for God starts with believing in the One He sent (John 6:29, TPT). Sometimes believing takes work. When your body's sick, and you choose to resist it and instead, say, By His stripes I'm healed, it requires some work to believe that. But that's all the work. You don't have to heal yourself, or be the one to die on the Cross, and you don t have to earn the healing. Simply get the Word, see what Jesus says, believe it, act on it, and speak it. Additional scriptures: Philippians 4:19; 1 Peter 2:24 MAKE IT PERSONAL Is there something that you have avoided asking God for, because it seems too big or maybe even seems too trivial? God wants to fill us in every way. Be bold today to ask, seek and knock. If the Word says that something belongs to you, then it s yours! Find three scriptures that tell you whether it is God s will for you to receive whatever you ve been questioning. Then, believe that! Second Corinthians 1:20, NLT, For all of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding Yes! And through Christ, our Amen (which means Yes ) ascends to God for his glory.
