Apostles Creed Prayer to the Holy Spirit Come Holy Spirit, Fill my heart with the Fire of Your Love. I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, (Bow) who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen. Our Father: Our Father, Who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come: Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen Hail Mary: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hours of our death. Glory Be: Glory be to the Father, and the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen Fatima Prayer: O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Your Mercy.

1. The Baptism of Jesus Spiritual Fruit: Openness to the Holy Spirit Intention: For the Pope and his intentions and for our own personal intentions. 1. John the Baptist was baptizing in the Jordan River and all Jerusalem and Judea were going to be baptized. 2. Jesus also came from Galilee to be baptized by John. 3. John tried to refuse and said, You come to me, I should be baptized by You. 4. Jesus replied, Give in for now, we must do this to fulfill all God s demands. 5. So John gave in and Jesus came out of the water and was praying. 6. Suddenly the sky opened and the Spirit descended like a dove. 7. A voice from heaven said, This is My beloved Son, My favour rests on Jesus. 8. Jesus was led out into the desert by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil. 9. He fasted for 40 days and 40 nights and afterwards, Jesus was hungry. 10. The devil said to Jesus, If You are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread. Jesus replied. Man does not live on bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

2. Marriage Feat of Cana Spiritual Fruit: Devotion to Mary Intention: For families and prayer in families and for our own personal intentions. 1. There was a wedding feast at Cana of Galilee and the Mother of Jesus was there. 2. Jesus and His disciples had also been invited. 3. The wine ran out and Jesus Mother told Jesus, They have no wine. 4. Jesus said to His Mother, How does this concern of yours involve Me? My hour has not yet come. 5. Mary told the waiters, Do whatever Jesus tells you. 6. There were some water jars, each holding 15-20 gallons, used for prescribed Jewish ceremonial washing. 7. Jesus ordered, Fill those jars with water, and the waiters filled the jars to the brim. Then Jesus said, And now pour some out and take it to the waiter in charge. 8. The waiter in charge tasted the water made wine without knowing where it came from. 9. The waiter said to the groom, People usually serve the best wine first, but you have kept the best wine till now. 10. Jesus performed the first of His signs at Cana of Galillee. Thus Jesus revealed His glory and His disciples believed in Jesus. Hail Mary.

3. The Kingdom of God is Near at Hand (Proclamation of the Kingdom) Spiritual Fruit: Forgiveness and trust in God Intention: For the conversion of all people and for our own personal intentions. 1. Jesus appeared in Galilee proclaiming the good news of God. 2. Jesus said to the people, The reign of God is at hand, reform your lives and believe in the gospel. 3. To the paralyzed man Jesus said, Son, your sins are forgiven. 4. Jesus continued, Blessed are the poor in spirit; theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. 5. Jesus further said, Blessed are the meek; they shall possess earth. 6. Jesus said, Blessed are those who mourn; they shall be comforted. 7. Jesus added, Blessed are the merciful; mercy shall be theirs. 8. Jesus further added, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for holiness; they shall be satisfied. 9. Jesus continued, Blessed are the pure in heart; they shall see God, 10. Jesus said, Blessed are the peacemakers; they shall be called children of God.

4. The Transfiguration Spiritual Fruit: Desire for Holiness Intention: For all non-believers and for our own personal intentions. 1. Jesus took Peter, James and John up onto the mountain to pray. 2. While Jesus was praying, His face changed in appearance, His clothes became dazzling white. 3. Suddenly two men appeared and were talking with Jesus. They were Moses and Elijah. 4. Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus in glory and spoke of Jesus passage, which Jesus was to fulfill in Jerusalem. 5. Peter and the others has fallen asleep. They awakened and saw Jesus glory and the men talking with Him. 6. Peter said, how good it is for us to be here. Let us set up three booths, one for Jesus, one for Moses and one for Elijah. 7. While Peter was speaking, a cloud came and overshadowed them and the apostles were afraid. 8. From the cloud a Voice came, This is My Son, the Chosen One, listen to Him. 9. When the Voice fell silent, Jesus was there alone. 10. As Jesus, Peter, James and John came down from the mountain, Jesus told Peter, James and John strictly not to tell anyone until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

5. The Institution of the Eucharist Spiritual Fruit: Love and Thanksgiving to our Eucharistic Lord Intention: For priests and religious vocations and for our own personal intentions. 1. Before the feast of Passover, Jesus realized that His hour had come for Him to pass from this world to the Father. 2. He had loved His family and friends in this world and Jesus would show His love for them to the end. 3. Jesus was fully aware that He had come from God and was going to God; Jesus rose from the meal and took off His Cloak. 4. Jesus took a towel and tied it around Himself. 5. Then Jesus poured water into a basin and began to wash the feet of His disciples and dry them with the towel. 6. Peter said, Lord are You going to wash my feet? 7. Jesus replied, You may not realize what I am doing now, but you will understand later, 8. Jesus explained, What I just did was to give you an example. If I who am teacher and Lord washed your feet, then you must wash each other s feet. 9. Then taking bread Jesus gave thanks, broke it and gave it to them saying, This is my Body which will be given up for you. 10. Then taking the cup of wine Jesus said, This is my blood which will be shed for you and for all, for the remission of sins.

Hail Holy Queen Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope, to thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears; turn, then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the Blessed Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
