Service to the Lord was a holy vocation; the Tabernacle and all its furniture and implements were to be considered holy because they were anointed with oil (see Exodus 40:9). When was a priest (who also was anointed for service and considered holy) not to approach the holy things which the children of Israel dedicate to the Lord (vv. 1-3)? Leviticus 22-23 Page 1
