LEOMINSTER, MA Like the Magi, we too have guiding lights in our lives. The Eucharist is a guiding light for us. It s where we hear the word of God. It s at Mass that we eat the bread of life which is traditionally called the food for the journey. But most of all, we have the community of faith, the Church. We are meant to be a community that is always there for each other. Sometimes that support isn t even put into words. But we come together, imperfect people who believe, have doubts, have difficulties, have wonderful experiences. A community gives tremendous support. When we pray for one another, and experience our pulling for one another, singing together, the handshake of peace it s a great gift and we should be thankful for our parish family. The Magi ended their journey when they found the Lord. The Church exists to help us to do the same. We don t live to find the Church. The Church lives to help us find the Lord.
