God's Sovereignty Guarantee's The Final Triumph Over Evil Scott Paris Oh, beloved, our days of struggling to be like Jesus is over! We used to sing: "Oh, to be like Him, Oh to be like him." Why do we want to take hours and even days of reading the life story of the Lord in His days on earth, when now we are in our Royal King's presence, ever more? Our Beloved King has written His royal law within our hearts. Yes the incarnate Lord is enthroned in our lives! It is within our spirit that the light of Father shines, and infinitely surpasses any and all manifestation of glory coming from without. And He is writing down the revelation and making it plain on tablets of our heart. Hab. 2:2. His revelation written in our heart is saying: The glory of His grace and vision is not only what He would do for you and I, but what He would become in us who receive Him. Vital union with the Lord is essential in our lives to know Him and His every day to day, and moment to moment reality! The experiential consciousness of that oneness floods our spirits, unleashing His divine presence, power and life. Therefore when our lives are abandoned to the Lord the "light of the world" Himself floods our spirit within! Growth of our spiritual life in Christ is the manifestation of His life increasing, and is Father's good pleasure, whereas legalism and rituals are enemies of His life. They bind and enslave the saints to the natural. We don't receive salvation apart from a Person - Christ Himself. Christ is salvation to all whom He indwells! "The way, the truth and the life is Christ in whom we are personally indwelt. John Baptist said of Jesus and himself, "He must increase that I might decrease." So at the moment Christ comes to take up His dwelling in you, the "Old Man" and darkness is dispelled, or "swallowed up of life." "Without holiness no one shall see the Lord..." All God's people need to understand that "God is holy." Holiness is not anything given to us apart from the Person Whom God is! One can try being holy, but until he realizes that holiness is a Person (God) he will always be

reaching for that which he can't attain in himself. Holiness is not utilized in our service to or for Christ! We are the holy temple of God. Thus by the mere fact that our spirit is "joined to the Lord as one spirit" we are holy as He is holy. "As he is so are we in this world." "Now remains faith, hope and love, the greatest of these is Love." Halleluyah! Love is a Person! Love is our Father. "They that have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ" and are immersed into Love. Love is not just a gift, He is the Royal Creator and giver of all gifts-"perfect love casts our fear." WOW! Our Father is "perfect Love." "Perfect Love" resides in our breasts. Song of Songs 1:13. "The law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did, by the which we draw near unto God." Heb.6:19. The law made nothing perfect, never did, never will! Why do men study the law hour after hour to find some benefits out of it? Perfect love is here to receive you into His loving and merciful embrace for ever! "Love never fails." 1 Cor.13:8. Love never fails to carry out His will, His promises, and all that He has begun. He will ultimately finish even "The restoration of all things spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began." Not understanding that all of these personal attributes of the Lord come with Himself, we ask Him for them, when they don't come as a separate package apart from Him. The old song we sing, "Rock of ages cleft for me, let me hide myself in thee." The word says, "Our life is hid with Christ in God." The song has touched millions of hearts, but conveyed that thought of Christ being apart from us. Jesus said, "Except a grain of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit." Jhn. 12:24. Jesus Christ the "Promised Seed" was laid into the earth of death, and arose to be the "firstfruit's of them that slept." In His death and resurrection He reaped a bountiful harvest. "There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." You don't need a priest, you already have one, Jesus Christ. We were raised from the dead with Him in the glory and power of His resurrection life! Christ is more than sufficient for all our needs! Christ in the Father is the ultimate Source of all our needs,

and is our life and faith, why look for Jesus to come and Rapture us away to a natural, material heaven when He has already come and caught us up into Himself making us one in Spirit with Himself? We have believed the "tradition of man and made the word of God of none effect." The written word cannot be read as reveled truth without the revelation Spirit light of the living word Who once came to dwell among us, but is now come to dwell in us. 1 Jhn.4:15-16. "Alleluia, for the Lord God omnipotent reigns." Rev. 19:6. The glory of our Father is what of necessity all mankind must bow the knee, adversaries and evil as well as all else. Father has ordained it, His power assures it, and when He removes every restricting dark cloud of hindrance, He will "rest in His love!" Our Father is no idle spectator, looking on from a distant planet at the happenings here on planet earth. He is here Himself shaping every happening to the ultimate promotion of His own glory! Father's wisdom in this world's governments will be completely vindicated before all creation. He foreordained all things that comes to pass! The majesty and glory of our Father is manifested in His truth, righteousness and goodness and holiness. What assurance fills the hearts of every son and daughter who rests intently upon the blessed truth of Father's sovereignty! Father's sovereign election of the ultimate salvation of all mankind is His merciful provision. "His sovereignty guarantees the final triumph of good over evil!" "And we know that all things work together for good to them who love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Rom. 8: 28. Oh, beloved such a word evokes a song of praise in our spirit. Father's will is irresistible, irrevocable and only wills that which is good to all who love Him. Sin cannot have dominion over one who loves God, who is called according to His purpose. "It is no longer I that lives, but Christ who lives in me." Sin has no dominion over Christ, and Christ is our life. We are crucified with Christ." The dead has no "I." Never the less I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me

and gave his life for me." Gal. 2:20. We now have a new identity! "If any man be in Christ he is a New Creature." The "I" that now live in me is Christ. "You are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God." The Lord exerts on us His Spirit preserving, energizing, directing influence, that is sufficient for all our needs. Ps.97:9-11, Eph.3:16. The redemption of mankind was Father's pro-vision and when Adam fell, he found mercy walking hand in hand with justice! Rev.13:8, James 2:13, "Mercy triumphs over judgment." Christ was foreordained before the foundation of the ages to be Savior of all men. Eph.1:10,11. We can rest in infallible certainty that all Father has purposed must inevitably come to pass. Isaiah 42:9, 46:9,10. "Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ." 1 Pet.1:2. Beloved, we are told here that Father's election in His foreknowledge precedes the working of holy Spirit or the obedience of faith in us, removing it totally off our shoulders, leaving salvation entirely in our Father's sovereignty and good pleasure. The foreknowledge of God the Father does not just refer to His omniscience of all things but implies that we were present with Christ before the eons. The "foreknowledge of God" and His "determinate counsel" go hand in hand as seen in Acts 2:23, "Him being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain." Therefore with our Father His "degree" (counsel) precedes His "foreknowledge." Here we find the same order:"whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son." Free will is consigned to us within the Parameters of Father's will. God's sovereignty allows for no limitations in His eternal Godhead. Man who is always "right in his own eyes" sees himself in total control of his own destiny. This is the result of his darkened mind apart from God's mind. When we fully recognize Father's Sovereignty it will exclude all murmering and complaints! "Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" Mans heart is filled with turmoil and little rest until he sees the will of God in everything.

The sovereignty of the Most High God is the center of gravity in the teaching of Biblical truth! And its importance should be on the same rung of the ladder as the virgin birth of Jesus and the divine inspiration of the scripture's! Upon realizing that Father is Sovereign over all, and His love for all mankind, it gave me a right direction to conduct. One popular teaching now prevailing that is taught from the pulpit is mans "free will." Thus man chooses Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior by his own free will. Yet the Bible denies this popular presumption. "It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy." Rom. 9:16, And "It is God working in all, both to will and to do of God's good pleasure." Phil.2:13. And Jesus stated, "You have not chosen me, I have chosen you." Mans will does not have ultimate self determining power to believe. But the Holy Spirit influences and convinces our choices and choosing's of faith when hearing the word of God. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the (rhema) word of God." The Holy Spirit is the causative Agent in causing mans will to move from negative to positive will activating it on to faith. Yet it is not our faith, But,,,"I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me, and gave himself for me!" Gal. 2:20. Those living in the higher consciousness of God in Christ Jesus' spiritual flame desire nothing but that Father may be glorified in them through the act of His holy will. For this cause the love of ourselves is lost in the love of God. Likewise our will is lost in the will of God! Thus we have come to a spiritual state of divine union, in accordance with Jesus prayer in Jhn17, and are made one with Christ in God. We don't work to bring faith to inward acts, for our spiritual plane appears to be characterized of a deep, divine rest in the Father. We see nothing but Christ within. We commune with Him hour by hour, even as a bride with her bridegroom. He becomes so intimate within that we look on Him not as someone external and separate, but as our inner principle of divine Life. "Who ever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith." 1 Jhn.5:4.

"There is therefore no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus." Rom. 8:1. The context of natural carnal men is condemnation! The condemnation and its ensuing failure in them is their condemnation. Father told me years ago that we speak our own environment into existence by the words that we speak. Natural minded people do not see things (words and beliefs) they stumble over! Constant resistance to evil strengthens and develop's ones character. Sinning less and less does not perfect godly character in one. But sin does cause one to develop a sinful character. When we receive Christ and the new heart within, we are perfectly new, then our character can develop to perfection. Not only does the Lord call us to higher life in Him, but He also lives it for us! No one can live Christ's divine life but Himself. God would focus our attention on the fact that He has not called and chosen us to work for Him, but primarily to know Him in intimate spirit union. Resting in our oneness in Christ manifests in our daily fellowship with Him as He sings over us night and day! In Mark 3:31-35 Jesus was teaching a multitude of people, when His mother and brothers came up wanting to talk to Him. When they told Him, He said to them: "Who is my mother, or my brothers? He looked round about on them which sat around him, and said, Behold my mother and my brothers! For who so ever will do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and my mother." Therefore we are His heavenly family of brothers, sisters, and also His mother. All immersed into Christ have put on Christ, and any weapon formed against them falls on Christ. Actual physical persecution, words, criticism, all evil towards His people falls on Him! "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" Yet, we have no need of resisting evil. "Now thanks be to God, who always leads us to triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of his knowledge in every place." 2 Cor.2:14. Christ in us is a perpetual fragrance of life, and is never nearer us or farther from us at any hour of time. We can never depend on our ability, or talent, He is our only Source. He said, "I will never leave

you nor forsake you, Lo I am with you to the end of the ages." When Jesus was on earth 2000 years ago, He fulfilled the law. He is here today in Spirit walking the earth in shoe leather in us, and fulfills the law in us. We didn't receive the Holy Spirit by obeying the law and doing its works, but by hearing the Gospel and believing it. We are not filled with the Spirit by observing a law of rituals. Having begun in the Spirit can we reach perfection depending on the flesh? Gal.3:2,3. Beloved we can not fulfill the law by our own ability. Through Jesus cross and our new birth we are cut loose from dependence on our natural ability! Christ only can live His anointed life (supernatural life) in these "earthen vessels." To Him belongs all the honor, glory and power, amen! "It is no longer you or I that lives today, it is Christ." His divine life in us is not grounded in doing, rituals, and rules. It is "being." "In him we live and move and have our being." Beloved, rules have nothing to do with our spiritual life of faith and grace walk. Neither did rules have any thing to do with our birth in the Spirit. Your victory in the Spirit does not depend on law, rules or rituals, but on His grace. From Father's perspective it is a stacked deck, and He stacked it! Man does not have the ability to believe in Christ or have faith in Him, being as man is a sinner. Christ who is faithful, is joined to our spirit (1 Cor.6:17) and He isn't going anywhere. (I will never leave you nor forsake you). And I am accepted in Him Eph.1:6, not my behavior. Grace can be rejected, and unfortunately I have done that. man has a will, and it is linked to God's will, to believe in Jesus. That requires not hardening our heart as He speaks to us Ps. 95:7,8. Sovereignty is not resistible. He stacked the deck Rom.8:29. He planned how to get us all from beyond time, setting us up so that we would freely not harden our heart on at least one occasion. Then we would hear and faith would come by "Hearing, and hearing by the word (rhema) of God,"( not mere scripture). And since we would have faith the obedience of faith would take place in us. Those who have faith are believing. Though it is not a credit card we can use at will! See how weird I am? It is not greasy grace, or sloppy agape. Heb. 12:14 "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God..."

Therefore we need Christ Spirit purification in our reactions and dealings with all of our brothers and sisters. So let us not be turned away today (as most men) from the truth and believe more in myths. Law nor any human righteousness can take away sin nor vivify man out of this earth's death, but Father's Sovereignty and faith through Christ has loosed us from the pangs of sin and death. All praise to our Sovereign Father and His Son for His final triumph over evil. Amen. Love and hugs, Scott.
