Ridge Street * Marquette * Michigan 49855 * (906) 226-2912 Scrip Program News We have passed the $1,000.00 mark in profits in about ten weeks with over 30 families participating. Order forms are available at the "Scrip Corner" table as you enter the church from the parking lot. We plan to have someone there every Sunday so you can place and pick up orders more conveniently. Of course, you can always drop off orders anytime in the office. Please leave them on Kathy's desk. March order dates are Sunday, March 6 and Sunday, March 20. We plan to spotlight a participating business each month with space permitting. This month, Bountiful Balloons and Events, a business owned by Karen Benstrom and Debbie Fuller is our focus. Opening in May of 2010, Bountiful Balloons and Events is a new business located at 121 W. Washington, next to Wells Fargo in Marquette. More than just balloons on a string, Balloons are such an exciting product, they bring a smile to someone s face and excitement to any event, says Debbie Fuller, co-owner with Karen Benstrom. Bountiful Balloons and Events offer the largest selection of balloons in the Marquette area. Custom balloon bouquets or balloon sculptures to pick up or to send with an optional singing delivery are just the beginning. Balloon Buddies and Balloon Party Girls have been very popular. Gift baskets, mugs, bags of candy, plush animals and other gift ideas are on display and ready to add to any order. Another truly memorable gift item is the Character Appearance for young and old alike featuring a Princess, Clown, Pirate, Monkey, Bear and the ever popular Mourner mourning the passing of youth. The Characters bring a large balloon bouquet, sing for the occasion and pose for pictures. We also offer seasonal Characters including Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. A new feature at Bountiful Balloons and Events are Theme Parties for all ages. Become a junior balloon artist at a Balloon Art Party. Come to our place or we can come to you and have the Princess or Fairy do activities and sing at your Birthday Party. Play games, enjoy refreshments and have fun at a Lego or Hot Wheels Party. Divas and Rockers will also have a great time at one of our Extreme Theme Parties. Another aspect of our business includes decorating. From a centerpiece on the dessert table to large sculptures in the Dome, we offer a variety of decorations where you are only limited by your imagination and your budget. Arches, columns, clusters, sculptures, gazebos and canopies, balloon drops and balloon releases--we have experience creating decorations for all occasions. Bountiful Balloons and Events is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment. Stop by, give us a call at 228-6602 or visit our photo albums www.facebook.com/ bountifulballoons. Birthdays, get well, new baby, retirement, anniversary, just because, or any other occasion you can think of, we would love to create a memorable gift just for you. And, we are very happy to be supporting St. Paul s with the new Scrip Program!

You may use the schedule to sign up for specific role(s) on specific date(s); you may use the appropriate rosters to let me know when I should not schedule you. Complete spring quarter schedules will be distributed beginning March 20. During Lent Yet another way of using singing bowl to assist our silence. During the liturgy group s evaluation of our introduction of the singing bowl during the Advent season (and using feedback received from about 20 St. Paul s members), we came up with the following, which will be tried during Lent: instead of four short silences whose duration was set by the duration of a single strike of the bowl, during Lent, we will have one long silence (following the Gospel) which will be begun and ended by strikes of the bowl. Following Lent, we will again host a forum to invite feedback on this community experience.
