Eucharistic Ministers to the Sick and Homebound take Holy Communion to Light of Christ parishioners who are unable to come to Mass and also to Catholic residents in our area health care facilities. So far this year, these extraordinary people have taken the Blessed Sacrament to our brothers and sisters in Christ 3,119 times! This is a very rewarding ministry and is a very personal and intimate way to experience Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. The training session for those wishing to participate in Eucharistic Ministry to the Sick and Homebound was cancelled due to Hurricane Irma. It has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 7th. We ll meet in room 1&2 in the JF wing of the Parish Hall at 9:30am. Please prayerfully consider whether our Lord is calling you to join us. Please contact Jean Ropp at 441-4545, ext. 225 or jcr@locchurch.org for more information. "The Eucharist constitutes the very life of the Church, for the Lord said, I am the bread of life. No one who comes to me shall ever be hungry, no one who believes in me shall ever thirst.
