1
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. 2
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. 3
As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: 4
It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. 5
You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. 6
7
Lord may this candle be a light for you to enlighten me in my difficult decisions, and may it be a fire for you to purify me from all pride and selfishness. May it be a flame for you to build warmth into my heart towards my family, my neighbours and all those who meet me 8
9
As we now bring fire to this candle-wick, making it glow with light, may we also bring the fire of love to this time of prayer and worship. May this holy candle send forth dancing rays like sunrise on the most glorious morning, and may these rays of light encircle us and those we love. 10
We give you thanks O God, for this happy moment and we ask that as we are as one, in this circle of light, we may always be one with you in the circle of your loving presence. 11

Seek Ye First the Kingdom VU 356 13
Seek ye first the kingdom of God and God s righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Hallelu, Hallelujah. 14
Ask and it shall be given unto you; seek and you shall find; knock and the door shall be opened unto you. Hallelu, hallelujah. 15
We do not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Hallelu, hallelujah. 16
17
O God, enlarge within us the sense of fellowship with all living things, our brothers the animals to whom thou gavest the earth as their home in common with us. 18
We remember with shame that in the past we have exercised the high dominion of man with ruthless cruelty so that the voice of the earth, which should have gone up to thee in song, has been a groan of travail. 19
May we realize that they live not for us alone but for themselves and for thee, and that they love the sweetness of life. 20

Love is something, if you give it away, give it away, give it away, Love is something, if you give it away, you ll end up having more.
It s just like a magic nickel. Hold it close, it s so fickle. Lend it, spend it, and you ll feel a tickle of joy from head to toe.
Love is something, if you give it away, give it away, give it away, Love is something, if you give it away, you ll end up having more.

For the fruit of all creation thanks be to God. For the gifts to every nation, thanks be to God. For the ploughing, sowing, reaping, silent growth while we are sleeping, future needs in earth s safe keeping, thanks be to God. 32
We give you gifts from our hearts, loving God. Use them according to your will. Amen. 33

Source of grace and fount of blessing, let your light upon us shine; teach us how to love each other, lift us to the joy divine. 41
Mortals join the mighty chorus which the morning stars began; God s own love is reigning o er us, joining people hand in hand. 42
Ever singing, march we onward, victors in the midst of strife, joyful music leads us sunward in the triumph song of life. 43
